(Clearwisdom.net) In the blink of an eye, ten years have passed since the Minghui website was deployed. With help from this website, Falun Gong practitioners residing in China have survived the past ten years amidst tribulations, and have been able to walk righteously. The articles on Minghui include all aspects and are very comprehensive. Regardless of whether it is exposing the evil and reducing the persecution, or exchanging understandings on the Fa and improvement of xinxing, or sharing experiences while clarifying the truth in order to save sentient beings, we have all benefited from reading these website articles.
In March 2003, I started learning how to browse the Minghui website. Reading this website became a daily necessity for me. Whenever I missed a day reading the articles, I felt as though I had fallen behind in my cultivation. This was because I realized that I had some degenerated notions, but I was not able to detect them. I managed to recognize them after reading experience sharing articles from fellow practitioners. Some attachments I detected quickly, while others I gradually recognized after a period of studying the Fa with a calm heart. Especially after I read the experience of a practitioner who wrote about memorizing the Fa, I developed confidence for memorizing the Fa. In the past, I believed that it would take too much time to memorize the Fa, but when I persisted and memorized it once, I reaped the benefits. I managed to eliminate many attachments in the process and had more clarity on the Fa. I also learned how to more effectively look inward and search for my attachments. I think this is solid cultivation and this is the main consciousness assimilating to the Fa. During these few years, I studied the Fa together with a few practitioners, but when I studied Zhuan Falun alone, I memorized it.
I experienced first hand a quick improvement by reading the articles on Minghui every day. I can say that my progress was very rapid, improving by leaps and bounds. Thus I would like to encourage fellow practitioners to visit the Minghui website regularly and the materials preparation sites will flourish like blooming flowers. I suggest that those practitioners who have suitable conditions, and especially those who have been illegally incarcerated for long periods of time, when you are released, you should read the "Minghui Weekly" newsletter and your improvement will be rapid.
A male practitioner in Shandong Province had been persecuted. His wife divorced him and he was dismissed from his job. He became homeless and while he was wandering around to avoid further persecution, he came to my area. At that time, he had no contact with the local practitioners and couldn't obtain the new articles or the Minghui Weekly newsletter, thus he gradually drifted away from Dafa. He cohabited with an unmarried non-practitioner for more than two years and was sinking into the attachment to sentimentality, and seemed unable to get a hold on himself. Later, compassionate Master arranged for me to meet with Practitioner L, who told me about this other practitioner's situation. I contacted a practitioner who was good with computers to help him install some programs and teach him how to browse the Minghui website. He then rapidly improved his xinxing. In one night he read a series of articles on the website regarding sexual relationships and the issue of marriage, and he very quickly and completely freed himself from the entanglement of his improper relationship. He managed to be responsible to his cultivation and returned to the path of Fa-rectification.
There are many such examples of practitioners gaining benefits from reading the Minghui website. Fellow practitioners around me who persisted in reading the Minghui Weekly newsletter and the website all had the same thoughts. "If I cannot read Minghui, I cannot keep up with Fa-rectification!" We even find it unbelievable that people would spread and read false scriptures, because we browse Minghui every day for new articles, and can very easily verify everything. Only those who don't read Minghui Weekly, and even those who defame the Minghui website will be deceived and have their loopholes taken advantage of by the evil.
I remember when I met Practitioner M in a detention center in April 2001. That was during the time when the evil was persecuting practitioners most severely. Many practitioners were illegally incarcerated and taken to brainwashing centers. Some went awry and gained bad understandings. Practitioner M told me that the reason why she was not hoodwinked and deceived was because she was able to read the Minghui website, and to thus see the main direction. Eight years passed and I have not met her again, but her words remain fresh in my mind. Minghui has accompanied us during the most arduous period and helped us to get through it!
Today I asked a fellow practitioner her thoughts about the Minghui website, which has been in existence for ten years now. She said that she wanted to represent everyone and send greetings to the practitioners who maintain the Minghui website! She and others hope that the website will become even better! Let me represent practitioners in China in giving our gratitude to the compassionate salvation of Master and for setting up a trustworthy website for us. We will be more diligent, do the three things well, and save more sentient beings!
