A Pledge to our Venerable Master

I want to embody to the fullest possible extent, the principle that I cherish: Truthfulness, Benevolence, Forbearance.

I want to embody this principle within every layer of my being, expanding infinitely outward, touching everything in my world.

I want to exist as a particle of this principle, the characteristic of the universe.

Letting all those with whom I interact, be it my family, my friends, my co-workers, my neighbors, my community, my community representatives, my state and my country, world leaders, and all those in the world I will be fortunate to meet in my lifetime. To demonstrate a person who holds herself to this highest standard. I want to set this example in my deeds and behavior magnificently and without waiver.

I want to live what I believe and to let go of petty thoughts and a materialistic mentality that cannot open one's wisdom and allow humankind to ascend.

I want to leave behind the lure of sentimentality and replace it with the more magnificent and sincere heart of compassion.

I do not want to avoid any difficulty or struggle along this path I have chosen, because I know that I can never be a victim when I make my own choice.

This is my sincere pledge to our Teacher and the principle of Truthfulness, Benevolence, Forbearance.

Fellow practitioners:

No human being has any right to determine who can and cannot practice this principle. It is beyond the most unbelievable arrogance to even consider this possible.

The persecution against Dafa Practitioners in China, is not an isolated event or "internal affair" happening to some other group of people. It is an attempt by those who have truly traded their humanity to attempt to destroy our practice -something magnificent for everyone! This is a crime against the world's people and possessing a conscious, I must do everything to help rectify this situation.

Toward this effort I have realized that as a practitioner of Falun Dafa, there is no effort too small or tedious for me to undertake and no effort too difficult or impossible for me to attempt. I have no preference in these things. Master says it is your heart that matters. What kind of evil can stand up to a heart that firmly embodies Truthfulness, Benevolence, Forbearance. That is why I know I can make a difference.

It is time for all of us to no longer tolerate this crime against humanity. To close all gaps in our thinking. To give up the small and ordinary mind and trade it for the more magnificent wisdom cultivated from our belief.

Practitioners! It is time for all of us to become more mature and step forward now! Let us show our venerable Master that we are worthy of his compassionate mission. Let us look inside ourselves to remove the last crumbs of indecision and uncertainty that prevent us from magnificently representing our belief to the world from top to bottom and from smaller to greater.

Let all of us set this example in our deeds and behavior, holding the highest standard and without waiver. And, when we feel we have accomplished this, let us do even better.
