1. (Northeast China) Two Nine-Meter Long Giant Banners Flutter Down from a High Rise

In a slandering Dafa photo exhibit held by the "610 Office" (a government office directing the persecution against Falun Gong) and other criminal organizations of a city in Northeast China, several Dafa practitioners displayed two, nine-meter long red banners on the exhibition building in the early morning of 09/17. One banner said: "Stop persecuting Falun Dafa!" The banners were still fluttering at 8:30 am. That day, the photo exhibit didn't carry on, and the next day, it was hastily ended.

2. (Shiyan, Hubei Province) Practitioners Go on Hunger Strike to Protest the Persecution of a Brainwashing Class

Currently there are three brainwashing classes in the Shiyan area. Hunger strikes have been occurring at different times, some starting a month ago, some three weeks ago. Nine hunger strikers in Dongyu Branch Bureau started their strike close to a month ago and have not yet been released. We suggest Dafa practitioners send righteous thoughts and help eliminate the evils.

3. (Heilongjiang Province) A Headmaster of a Middle School: "Falun Gong Spirit is so Admirable"

A headmaster of a middle school in Heilongjiang Province once spoke at a staff meeting: "I don't want to appraise what Falun Gong is, but speaking generally, two of our faculty members would rather give up their jobs rather than quit their cultivation practice or betray their Teacher. I greatly admire this kind of spirit."

People at large are gradually becoming clear-headed, recognizing the greatness of Dafa and our Master from the Dafa practitioners' conduct.

4. (Lanzhou, Gansu Province) Evil Deeds in Pingantai Labor Camp

The Pingantai Labor Camp atrociously tortures Dafa practitioners in a futile attempt to force these people into giving up their faith. Male practitioners are given the heaviest and hardest jobs during the daytime. At night they are hung up with their hands handcuffed from behind and drug addicts take turns torturing them. Some female practitioners are hung up during the daytime and are sent back to the cell at night; some are forced to labour during the daytime and are beaten during the night; some are forced to work in the daytime and afterwards are forced to stand the entire night without any sleep. There is only one purpose: to force Dafa practitioners to submit to the evils' terms against their will.

Jiao Lili is a female practitioner from the Qingyang Area in Gansu Province. Her term was extended for her unyielding staunchness. When her term came to full on 06/30/2001, the wicked police forced her once again to write the "three letters" (promising not to practice Falun Gong, stating their regret over practicing in the past, declaring their separation from Falun Gong). Jiao Lili resolutely refused and was tortured throughout the night. The next day she disappeared and only bloodstains were left of her presence on the floor.

Zhang Hui, female, a traitor, assists the evil force to persecute Dafa practitioners. When her crooked reasoning and fallacies are resisted, she personally leads a team of drug addicts to beat up practitioners. Her evil conducts makes a person's hair stand on end.

5. (Haishiwan, Gansu Province) Practitioner Chen Deguang and His Family's Ordeal

All four members of Chen Deguang's family are Dafa practitioners. They once lived a happy and quiet life in the small town of Haishiwan. Thus, since 07/22/1999, his family has been brutally persecuted by Honggu Public Security Branch Bureau and Haishiwan Police Substation and have not had a quiet life ever since. In February 2001, as a result of Chen Deguang's appeal in Beijing, he was lured out of his home by the police and was sent into Lanzhou Pingantai Labor Camp to serve a year and half term without any legal procedure. Chen's daughter Chen Shenghua (a senior student in Lanzhou Chinese Medical College) and his wife Sheng Chunmei were forcibly taken away to Provincial No. 2 Labor Camp for distributing Dafa materials. Chen Shenghua is serving one year while her mother is serving two years. With a thirteen year-old son left alone at home with no relatives to rely on, the once happy and amicable family was broken apart like this.

Despicable policemen who participated in the persecution are: Zhang, Section Chief of Politics and Security Department of Honggu Public Security Branch Bureau; Li Ling, Deputy Director Haishiwan Police Substation.

6. (Lanzhou, Gansu Province) Lanzhou Carbon Processing Factory Persecutes Falun Gong Practitioners

Soon after the events of 7/22/1999, the factory set up a "610 Office". Practitioners that went to Beijing to appeal were all punished either through dismissal from the factory or by the suspension of their salaries. Retired workers were not excepted. Those who firmly practiced Falun Dafa were frequently sent to a drug rehabilitation center. Four practitioners of the factory have been sent to labor camps: Liu Dongxiang, female, about 37 years old; Guan Longmei, female, about 29 years old; Xu Weiyao, male, about 43 years old; Liu Chenjun, male, about 57 years old. One more person was forced to wonder about destitute for a long time, and it's not sure whether he is alive or not.

The malicious persons of Lanzhou Charcoal Factory who participated in the persecution are: Zhan Qing, Deputy Party Secretary; Zhou Xiangwen, Director of "610 Office". The evil police officers who participated in the persecution: Li Ling, Deputy Director Haishiwan Police Substation.

7. (Yinshan, Shandong Province) Laigang Enterprises Corp. Continues to Persecute Dafa Practitioners

On September 12, Laigang Enterprises Corp., again forcibly sent Dafa practitioners Wang Mei from the (Sintering Plant) and Zhao Zhenyong of the (Ironworks) to (Shandong) Wangcun Labor Camp to attend brainwashing classes without any legal procedure. In recent months, more than a dozen people in Laigang were sent to labor camps for brainwashing.

Responsible Companies: Laigang Enterprises Corp.; Yinshan Public Security Bureau; Laigang Sintering Plant; Laigang Ironworks.

The names of the depraved individuals and their conducts are as follows:

1. Jiang Kaiwen: Party Secretary of Laigang Enterprises Corp. He actively instigates and plots the persecution against Dafa practitioners.
2. Zhang Canguo: Person-in-charge of "610 Office". He has been participating in the persecution for the past two years.
3. Liu Peisheng: Deputy Director of Yingshan Public Security Bureau. He has committed murder while persecuting Dafa practitioner since 04/25/1999.
4. Jiao Yuqi: Section Chief of Politics and Security Department of Yinshan Public Security Bureau. He has been frenziedly persecuting Dafa and Dafa practitioners. Eventually he met his retributions due to his conduct: he was beaten up and his gun grabbed away last May. Currently his wife is divorcing him.
5. Ding Qiang: Director of Nanling Police Substation, Yinshan Public Security Bureau. He has been actively participating in activities of persecuting Dafa practitioners.
6. Wang Jun: Deputy Party Secretary of Ironworks, Laigang Enterprises Corp. He is in charge of persecuting Falun Gong.
7. Zhu Xiaogui: Section Chief of Security Department, Laigang Enterprises Corp. He tortures Dafa practitioners with no distinction between good and evil.
8. Wang Kailong: Deputy Party Secretary of Sintering Plant, Laigang Enterprises Corp. He has been frenziedly persecuting Dafa practitioners since 4/25/1999 and was promoted to this post from section chief in the personnel department. Under his instigation and plotting, the Sintering Plant became a vicious place for persecuting Dafa practitioners.
9. Li Shuyu: Deputy Section Chief of Security Department of Sintering Plant. The former section chief of this security department met his retribution by crashing his car at the front gate of the factory on 11/10/2000. Sadly Li persists in pursuing a wrong course and continues to persecute Dafa practitioners.

8. (Harbin, Heilongjiang Province) Brutal Persecution of Dafa Practitioners in Yaziquan

Dafa practitioner Wang Yuzhi, female, is currently illegally held at Harbin Yaziquan Detention Centre. During her detention, she has never complied with the arrangements of the evils. In the beginning of her detention, she shouted "Falun Dafa is good," actively spread the Fa to the guards and inmates, and insisted on practicing and studying the Fa. She once went on hunger strike for ten days in order to protest the illegal detention. She was forced-fed once a day, sometimes twice a day. Each time she refused to cooperate, and each time she was beaten black and blue by the wicked. Each time when the thick pipe used for force-feeding was pulled out from her stomach, the end was all bloody.

Dafa practitioner Shang Yuqiu has been detained three times. This time she was approved to serve in a labour camp after eight days of arrest. She also didn't comply with the evil. While she was detained at Yaziquan, she went on a hunger strike to protest the illegal detention. The evil people tried to give her injections by force. They tied her up to a chair but she refused to cooperate. They failed in the end. Even after eight days of hunger strike, the wicked individuals still didn't spare her and sent her to Wanjia Labor Camp for a continuation of torture.

9. (Harbin, Heilongjiang Province) Lu Mengxin, Lecturer of Northeast Forestry University, Persecuted Brutally for a Legal Appeal

Lu Mengxin, male, was born in 1963 and is a lecturer at Northeast Forestry University. He went to Beijing to validate the Fa on 10/10/1999 and was sent back to Harbin Dongli Public Security Branch Bureau. After 16 months of illegal detention, he was sentenced to three years in prison. During the arbitrary detention, he was brutally beaten by the head inmate and other criminals for not reciting the rules of the detention center. He was also not given enough to eat and the food brought in by his family was all taken by other inmates. Therefore, he was left to starve. As a result of the poor sanitation of the detention centre, he had scabies all over his body. On 3/31/2001 he was sent to Harbin Prison. His wife, Xu Wenying was once arrested for publishing a statement on Minghui website and now is wandering about destitute with their three-year-old son. While in prison, Lu Mengxin went on a hunger strike to protest the illegal detention and was force-fed by guards. He is now held at the No. 1 Division of Harbin Prison.

10. (Dalian, Liaoning Province) Dentist of Dalian Chinese Medical Hospital Arrested by the Police

On 09/04/2001, Fan Yue, a young dentist in Dalian Chinese Medical Hospital, was arrested while at work by police from Zhongshan District Public Security Branch Bureau and Zhuanshan Police Substation. Her home was also searched and police confiscated her computer, printer and several CDs.

11. (Dalian, Liaoning Province) Sceptical: Dalian Police Releases a Group of Dafa Practitioners Before "10.1"

Dalian police have been releasing a group of Dafa practitioners one after another before the National Day. Quite a number of them, including some contact persons and some who were second in charge, have never compromised with the evils.

Seeing that more and more practitioners are stepping forth to clarify the truth, with more wisdom as a whole, it's correct to feel that the evils have run out of their tricks. However, since Jiang Zemin, Luo Gan and their associates have been strengthening their efforts to suppress Falun Gong, it's somewhat suspicious for police to release people on such a "sensitive" date as "October 1."

12. (Shiyan, Hubei Province) Dongfeng Motor Co. Bribes Police to Force Practitioners into Labor Camps

Feng Siuhua and her husband are staff members of Gearbox Co. of Dongfeng Motor

Co. in Shiyan City and are true practitioners. Feng Siuhua's husband, has been illegally detained at No.1 Shiyan Detention Center since 2000. Feng Siuhua was also sent to a forced brainwashing class at Dongyu Public Security Branch Bureau in Shiyan. Her company requested to have her in the labor camp but the labour camps refused to take her because of an unsatisfactory health check. The Security Department of her company was in league with the Dongyu Police Branch Bureau and bribed the labour camp in order to have her held.

This is a common practice of the Dongyu Police Branch Bureau. By implementing the same trick, it has illegally sent Huang Chaodeng and two other Dafa practitioners to labor camps. With what laws do such practices comply?
