"Politics" is a term of the modern, warped society. True human societies in history did not have this term or what politics encompasses. When politics appeared in human society, the society had already begun to warp, and moral values were being assailed by politics as well. On the morning of June 5, more than 60 practitioners from the greater New York area gathered at the Chinese Consulate to appeal. The practitioners prepared an appeal letter to the general consulate calling for the immediate release of all those detained in China for practicing Falun Gong in the past two years and of the five overseas practitioners who are not Chinese residents but were illegally detained when they were in China.
On June 5, along with practitioners worldwide, UK practitioners appealed at the Chinese Embassy in London and at the Chinese Consulate in Manchester.
