[Clearwisdom.net] At 1:00 PM on January 11, 2002, more than 90 practitioners from the San Francisco Bay Area gathered in front of the Chinese Consulate in San Francisco to start a 3-day vigil to condemn the recent rampage of arrests, torture, and killings of Falun Gong practitioners in China, and to expose the criminals involved.
This activity is part of a World Vigil being held in more than 30 cities around the world. It is instigated by reports of 20 deaths in the last 22 days of Falun Gong practitioners due to torture and mistreatment while in police custody in China.
