4. Saying No to Persecution is Not Being Political
The CCP is a master of accusing others with defamatory labels. Their habit of politicizing enemies is deeply rooted in the Party culture. During the Cultural Revolution in the 1960's, the CCP campaigned against Confucius and labeled him a "madman who wanted to go backward" and a "deceptive and shrewd political liar." They also criticized and ridiculed Newton and Einstein. After the CCP took over China, they treated the Chinese people like slaves. The CCP has absolute rule over the people, including their lives and deaths. Even former President Liu Shaoqi was not spared when the party decided to charge him with fabricated crimes and eliminate him.
Jiang Zemin employed the CCP's full power to persecute Falun Gong. He fabricated many horrible crimes to politicize Falun Gong. At the beginning of the persecution, Jiang swore that he would "eradicate Falun Gong in three months." More than five years later, Falun Gong has still not been eradicated. On the contrary, Falun Gong practitioners worldwide have carried out a large scale, long term and peaceful campaign to end the persecution. Falun Gong's strength and determination surprised the communist party, which has so far enjoyed absolute power to murder people. Falun Gong's resilience became a big headache to CCP leaders who believe that everything should be under their control.
Frustrated, Jiang Zemin's regime intensified the persecution. They also continued to fabricate political accusations and accuse Falun Gong of "playing politics," "having political intentions," "conspiring with Anti-China enemies," etc. People who subscribed to the CCP's lies believed that the CCP would "run over" Falun Gong. Now that Falun Gong has not been "run over," the CCP dares to deny the persecution. Some people think that Falun Gong irritated the CCP and that they are making themselves the CCP's enemies. They believe that Falun Gong may have political motivation. Some people cannot understand how Falun Gong can resist the CCP's bloody crackdown. They speculate that some powerful political forces are behind Falun Gong. In history, Christians survived 300 years of persecution and came out stronger. The communists worship violence and governmental power. They grossly underestimate the power of faith and overlook the mental fortitude of believers.
The persecution of Falun Gong is an unprecedented injustice in China's history. In the month of February 2005 alone, Clearwisdom.net reported 81 deaths caused by the CCP's persecution. Through unofficial but reliable sources, 1,735 death cases have been confirmed since the persecution began. However, the real number is far greater. According to a Chinese government internal report written in October 2001, over 3 years ago, at least 1,600 Falun Gong practitioners had died in police custody; at least 6,000 received illegal prison terms; more than 100,000 had been sent to forced labor camps and thousands had been sent to mental hospitals where they were injected with drugs that damaged their central nervous systems. In addition, millions of Falun Gong practitioners are arrested and sent to brainwashing classes; many more are beaten, or tortured; the police also extort money from them, confiscate their property, businesses, bank accounts and pensions and fire them from their jobs.
Under such unfair treatment and brutal persecution, Falun Gong practitioners have the right to appeal. It is a basic human right that is above politics. Even ancient emperors allowed it. Why doesn't the CCP allow it? Throughout history, anyone facing a murderous criminal could cry for help. He had the right to defend himself. It is the most natural thing a human being will do under such circumstances. It has nothing in common with a "fighting the enemy" mentality. Even while the CCP is brutally persecuting them, Falun Gong practitioners remain peaceful, rational and use legal channels to appeal and ask for help. Their purpose is to stop the persecution, not to counter attack the CCP. This is very reasonable and not at all political.
The CCP not only demands that all Chinese media attack and slander Falun Gong, but also uses its illegal and unbridled approach in the international community to silence world media on Falun Gong issues by using political pressure and economic enticements. Even some countries with "human rights protection" have abandoned their principles due to the CCP's economic blackmail. Facing the CCP's all around assault, Falun Gong practitioners have been forced to organize their own media to expose the CCP's lies, tell people what is really happening and stop the bloody persecution. Due to the unselfish efforts of Falun Gong practitioners, their media's voice has been heard throughout the world. This has made the CCP extremely nervous. They therefore spread rumors that Falun Gong is playing politics and has the support of some forces, etc.
Due to its inherent lack of legitimacy, the CCP always forces people to support and remain loyal to it. The CCP's leaders are furious over Falun Gong practitioners' efforts to expose the persecution. Like a mafia group facing final court testimony, they retaliate. They do this out of the CCP's evil nature. Crying out for justice is not new, people did that thousands of years ago. Falun Gong practitioners' anti-persecution effort is perfectly justified. The effect us that the CCP's political fabrications are losing their influence over the Chinese people.
5. Answer to Heaven's Will, Transcend Politics
The New York based newspaper Epoch Times special editorial series called "Nine Commentaries on the CCP" exposes the real nature of the communist evil spirit. Soon after its publication, the article triggered an unprecedented wave of resignations from the CCP and its affiliated organizations, which frightened the CCP. Before this, the CCP had enjoyed a monopoly of power and did not tolerate any criticism from the people. The anti-Rightists movement is an example. Facing anything as bold as the "Nine Commentaries," the CCP of course had a knee jerk reaction. However, this time, they did not dare to mention "Nine Commentaries" for fear of promoting the articles. All they could do was to blame the Epoch Times for playing politics while refraining from spelling out the details.
a) Why it is Necessary to Expose the CCP's Evil Nature.
Falun Gong is a cultivation practice. The practitioners do not have any desire for political power, nor do they have any enemies. Falun Gong itself does not support or oppose any political parties. Before Jiang Zemin's regime started the persecution in July of 1999, many people knew that Falun Gong benefited millions of people and their families. Falun Gong played a very positive role in social stability and harmony. It has all the benefits with no bad side effects.
Ignoring all the facts, a stupid and jealous Jiang Zemin deployed the Party machine to declare war against Falun Gong. The CCP propaganda machine fabricated lies to frame Falun Gong and deceive the people. Their shameless smear campaign has fooled many Chinese people.
To face a highly skilled serial killer with a big smile on his face, it became necessary to reveal the criminal evidence and expose his true nature to the people. Also in the same vein, to help people understand why the CCP persecutes Falun Gong, it became necessary to expose the CCP's true nature as an evil cult. So far, millions of people still do not know these basic facts.
Clarifying the facts to the public about the CCP's nature became an integral part of the overall effort to end the persecution. Clarifying the facts about the CCP's nature did not change the ultimate goal to end the persecution. It is not about politics and power.
b) Follow the Current Trends and Quit the Communist Party
With the exception of organized crime groups that discourage their members from freely quitting, enrolling or resigning from any organization, including political parties, is a personal decision. In the US, quitting or switching parties is a citizen's basic right.
The "Nine Commentaries" systematically dissects the CCP's history. As people read the articles, they realize the CCP's evil nature and many have decided to sever their affiliation with the Party and its associated organizations. Falun Gong practitioners also joined the movement.
Scared and having run out of ideas, the CCP can only resort to its old tactics: Accuse Falun Gong of being political. China's Constitution guarantees a citizen's right to "free assembly." Withdrawal from the party is also citizens' basic legal right. Everyone, including Falun Gong practitioners, is entitled to quit the party. This is not seeking political power and getting involved in politics. When the CCP asks people to join, they never blame them for being political. Why then is quitting the party said to be getting involved in politics?
The reason why Falun Gong practitioners want to quit the CCP, the Communist Youth League and the Children's Pioneer is that they want to follow the principles of "Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance." They do not want to be associated with the evil party in any way. For those who originally joined under different circumstances without knowing the CCP's evil nature, it is natural to quit the party. The CCP cannot allow people to quit. They even punish people for quitting. This is criminal behavior and a gross violation of citizen's rights.
From a practitioner's standpoint, quitting the CCP and its affiliates has a very profound significance. Over its history, the CCP has murdered 60 to 80 million Chinese people. In the last five years, they have carried out a large-scale persecution of Falun Gong practitioners. With such unpardonable crimes, the CCP is doomed. Ancient prophecies in China and abroad have been interpreted as predicting the CCP's ultimate demise around this time. If this is true, then don't gods want to eliminate the CCP? Could any person change that? To follow the will of gods is a wise thing to do. To quit the CCP is a wise thing to do. This is above politics. It is protecting one's future.
On August 27, 2004, US media reported a piece of news. The US Federal Court revoked the US citizenship of an 84-year-old resident of the State of Illinois because he once joined the notorious Nazi Waffen SS in Germany. This man served in the Sachsenhausen Concentration camp. When he applied for a visa to the US 50 years ago, he concealed this fact. This former Nazi member could not escape punishment and justice even after half a century. It is not hard to imagine that if any person who does not quit the CCP and remains a party member will bear a portion of the crimes committed by the party and, in the future, be subject to retribution.
The CCP has gone against all heavenly laws. It has lost legitimacy among the people and has become very unstable. Except for a handful of people who are foolish enough to chase money and fame within the CCP, nobody wants to be fooled by the communist propaganda. Who wants to inherit the blame for the CCP? Who wants to be eliminated by history along with the CCP?
