(Clearwisdom.net) Today's News from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 15 cities or counties in six provinces. In this report, six practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention and at least 22 practitioners were illegally arrested.
1. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Cong Quanying and Another Practitioner Transferred to Hohhot Women's Forced Labor Camp
Ms. Cong Quanying, 46, lives in the Malanzi area in Sha District, Dalian City. For four months, she had been detained in the Beijing Women's Forced Labor Camp with another practitioner from Dalian City, but they were transferred to the Hohhot City Women's Forced Labor Camp in the Inner-Mongolia Autonomous Region about two months ago. Ms. Cong is suffering from high blood pressure. The camp administration put her under strict control with several prisoners closely watching her to try to force her to give up her faith.
2. [Fuxin City, Liaoning Province] Masanjia Labor Camp Extended Ms. Zhang Guozhen's Term
Ms. Zhang Guozhen, 51, was arrested in late April 2008 and sentenced to 18 months of forced labor. She was tortured in Masanjia Forced Labor Camp with the "big hang up" (1). Her daughter went to pick her up when her term ended on October 30, 2009, but the authorities ignored her.
3. [Liaoyuan City, Jilin Province] A Female Practitioner Arrested
On November 9, 2009, a female practitioner, in her 50s, was arrested from her home located in the B-18 Jiayuan Community. The police immediately handcuffed and shackled her and took her printing equipment.
4. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Sun Dewu Arrested
Mr. Sun Dewu is employed by the Dalian City Color Printing Factory. The police arrested him at work on the afternoon of November 9, 2009. His whereabouts remain unknown.
5. [Zhengzhou City, Henan Province] Three Practitioners Arrested
The police arrested Ms. Cao Xiaofeng from her home between September and October 2009. The police also arrested Ms. Chen Fuzhen and her husband, Mr. Liang. Their whereabouts are unknown.
6. [Shulan City, Jilin Province] Ms. Yu Shujie and Ms. Wang Fengju Arrested
At around 4:00 p.m. on November 8, 2009, Ms. Yu Shujie and Ms. Wang Fengju were reported to police while spreading the truth about Falun Gong. Two officers from the Tiedong Police Station arrested them, ransacked their homes, and detained then in the Nanshan Detention Center.

On March 7, 2009, Ms. Wu Jinrong took some informational materials to Ms. Wang Xuefang in Xiaoba Town, Qingtongxia City. These two practitioners plus another practitioner, Ms. Zheng Fengying, were all arrested. The Qingtongxia City Procuratorate filed against them on November 4, 2009, and the trial was scheduled for two weeks later.

9. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Sun Lifeng Still Detained in Qianjin Forced Labor Camp
Ms. Sun Lifeng should have been released on October 24, 2009. Because she never gave up her faith, she is still detained in the First Ward of Qianjin Forced Labor Camp.
10. [Ren County, Hebei Province] Ms. He Xiuping from Nanzhanggu Village Arrested

Ms. Yu Jingzhen, 65, lives in the Sujiatun District, Shenyang City. She was arrested three months ago. Her case was filed on November 6, 2009, and she faces trial soon.

12. [Fujin City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Qi Lizhen Arrested
At noon on November 10, 2009, Ms. Qi Lizhen gave a Shen Yun DVD to an officer and was forced into the Xiping Police Station. Domestic Security Division Chief Shen Jingyuan directed a big group of officers to take Ms. Qi Jingzhen to the Fujin City Police department, and they detained her in the South Detention Center by 4 p.m.

13. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Mother and Daughter Brutally Mistreated
At around 6:00 p.m. on September 2, 2009, a group of officers stormed into Ms. Zhang Huajun's home, ransacked it, and arrested Ms. Zhang and her mother, Ms. Zhong Shufang, who was released several days later. Ms. Zhang is still detained.
14. [Dalian City, Laioning Province] Ms. Liu Yuying Arrested
The police from the Haiqing Station in Developing Zone arrested Ms. Liu Yuying on October 18, 2009. She is still detained in the Yaojia Detention Center. The police are trying to take her to forced labor.

15. [Yichun City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Zhao Runrong Arrested and Detained in Wumahe Detention Center
16. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Recent Persecution Facts
At around 11:00 a.m. on November 11, 2009, Ms. Tian Yingchun, Ms. Huang Shuhua, and Ms. Liu, all from the Chengfeng District, were clarifying the truth in the Qingkelong Supermarket of Cheng'er Village. They were reported and arrested. They are now in the Chengfeng District Detention Center.
17. [Yichun City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Wang Baotai Arrested
Officers of Nancha District Police Department and 610 Office arrested more than a dozen practitioners on October 27, 2009. On the evening of November 4, 2009, the police conducted a large-scale round of house-to-house searches according to a list. They arrested Mr. Wang Baotai by forcing his neighbor to deceive Mr .Wang into opening the door.
18. [Fuxin City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Gao Liazhen Arrested and Detained
On the morning of August 22, 2009, Ms. Gao Lianzhen was explaining the facts in the Qinghemen District and was arrested by officer Zhang Jingming from the Qinghe Police Station. The police ransacked her home and detained her in the Xindi Detention Center. It has been almost three months now, and her family has never been allowed to visit her. The Qinghemen District Court recently notified her family that they are going to put Ms. Gao on trial.
Note:
(1) "Big hang up" - There are two forms in this torture: (1) With both hands cuffed behind the back and only the toes touching the ground, one is hung by a rope that is tied to the metal window frames. (2) One hand of a practitioner is cuffed to one bunk bed and the other hand to another bed, and the two beds are pulled in the opposite directions. One feels extreme pain as the body is pulled.
