(Clearwisdom.net) I am a new practitioner. I would like to share with everyone my personal experience. I also want to thank Mr. Li Hongzhi for saving my life.
Many of my family and friends practiced Falun Gong, but the Chinese Communist Party defamed and slandered Falun Gong at every opportunity. I knew that practitioners were being tortured and persecuted, but I wanted to stay safe. I missed many opportunities to learn the practice.
I used to be healthy. In October 2008, I was diagnosed with breast cancer and had no more than two years to live. I was 30 years old and my child was only eight months. I had surgery and went through numerous chemo and radiation treatments. I went through a year of hell, believing that I would be cured, but I got weaker by the day as the cancer cells spread to my brain. I was told that I had less than a year.
I gave up and believed that modern medicine was hurting me even more. One of my relatives heard about me and gave me a copy of Zhuan Falun. I did not think much about it, but I read it with the practitioners who came to my house.
As we read the book day by day, I gradually could sit up without needing support behind my back. My dizziness and nausea disappeared.
A month later I went back to the hospital. The tumor in my brain was gone, and only a small scar was left. I knew Teacher and Falun Dafa had saved my life.
I used to be a willful and angry person. Since practicing Falun Dafa, I have become easygoing.
