(Clearwisdom.net) Chongqing Women’s Labor Camp guards and criminal inmates have tortured Falun Gong practitioners for years. Recently, many perpetrators have suffered karmic retribution for their crimes.
On June 22, 2011 at 9 a.m., a practitioner was taken to a solitary cell (smaller than 1.5 square meters with no window). A criminal inmate was also brought to the room to torture her. In the middle of this torture, the door popped open and everyone could hear her crying and calling out: “Falun Dafa is good!” The inmate and guard Zhang Xuemei pushed her back into the room and locked the door. No one heard anything again.
To punish the practitioners who heard the crying, the guard forced everyone to stand in the hot sun till noon. The oldest practitioner was 74 and the youngest was 17. The guards did not even spare elderly practitioners who suffered health conditions, such as hypertension and diabetes.
At the beginning of their detention, practitioners’ drinking water was restricted. Each one was given half a bowl of water per day. They were not allowed to change their underwear, and each was restricted to using the toilet four times a day. No matter the season, each practitioner could only use one barrel of water to wash their clothes and bathe. Each was given one thermos bottle of hot water, but criminal inmates typically intercepted the water for themselves.
Another torture method used at the labor camp is called squat-and-stand. A typical routine for practitioners included: 1000 repetitions in the morning, 1000 in the afternoon, and 1000 – 1500 in the evening.
Guards and Inmates Receive Karmic Retribution
In August 2011, guard Tao Xing tortured a practitioner. Suddenly the practitioner ran out of the door screaming. At 10:30 a.m. that day, Tao Xing suddenly became ill. When she walked upstairs, she needed two guards to help.
Criminal inmate Xiao Tihui was a drug addict. She assisted the guards to persecute practitioners. She was freed on February 8, 2011, but within one week, she was hit by a car. Xiao was a violent perpetrator. She forced practitioners to do squat-and-stand, to jump and to walk like a duck. She also hit practitioners hard. Once she wrote the name of the founder of Falun Gong on a bench, and forced practitioners to sit on it.
Inmate Li Xiaomin was in her 20’s. She used harsh torture methods on practitioners. In March 2011 she was released, but within one month, she died from a self-inflicted drug overdose.
Another 22-year-old criminal inmate from Jiangbei District arrived at the labor camp in March 2011. She began to assist the guards to persecute practitioners. In August, she began to cough badly. On August 13, she was diagnosed with acute lung cancer. Her family picked her up that same day.
Inmate Liu Xueqin is in her mid 20’s. During her two year term, she forced practitioners to write bad words about Dafa. In September 2010, she developed a lymphatic tumor in her neck. After a surgery, her neck did not heal for nearly a year. In February 2011, she spent two weeks with some practitioners. A practitioner told her that her neck could not heal because she mistreated practitioners. She promised that she would no longer mistreat practitioners. But in August, she again committed bad deeds against practitioners.
