(Minghui.org) Mr. Feng and I lived in the same subdivision. I first saw him six years ago. He often took a walk in the neighborhood. Sometimes he sat on a chair in front of my house if he got tired.
One day, I decided to talk to him. He told me that he was 78 years old. I wanted to persuade him to quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), so I asked him, “Are you a Party member?” With obvious pride, he answered, “Absolutely, I've been a Party member for several decades.”
I said: “The CCP is thoroughly corrupted. It fights against heaven and earth. But eventually it will have to pay for what it has done. If you quit the Party, you will be blessed and stay safe when heaven eliminates it.”
As he was deeply influenced by the Communist Party's atheist culture, he didn't believe me. He said: “I can't quit the Party. The Party pays me.”
I didn't give up, however. I decided to try another approach and put truth-clarification materials on his doorstep several times, hoping that he would pick them up and read them. But he didn't.
Wife's Cancer Cured with Belief in Dafa
I then heard that his wife was diagnosed with intestinal cancer. I thought this might be a good chance for them to experience the magnificent power of Falun Dafa. If the wife could understand the truth, she might benefit physically from it. And that may help Mr. Feng to change his mind as well.
One day, I saw his wife sitting alone in front of my neighbor’s house. She was taking a rest after some walking exercise. I thought this would be a good opportunity to talk to her.
I walked up to her and greeted her, “How are you doing?”
She replied: “I have a stomach ache. I don't know what happened to me. None of my children nor my husband tell me what's going on. My husband doesn't want me to stay in bed all day. He's afraid that I won't get up, so he takes me for a walk every day. But I still don't feel any better.”
I said to her: “If you trust me, I can share another method with you. If you sincerely recite, 'Falun Dafa is good and Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good,' you will be blessed and feel better.”
“You seem like a nice person. I believe you. I will recite it,” she said.
I gave her a Falun Dafa amulet, and she happily took it. I also explained to her that Falun Dafa teaches people to be good, truthful, compassionate, tolerant, and considerate of others.
She looked up at me and said, “If everyone was like that, what a great society it would be!”
Six months passed in a blink of an eye. One day, she came to my house and seemed to be very happy. I asked her, “Do you feel any better?”
“I'm all right now!” she replied. “I wanted to come and thank you for telling me about this wonderful method. My discomfort went away without even spending a penny.”
I told her: “You don't have to thank me. It's our Master who you really should thank.” She said several times: “Thank you, Master! Thank you, Master!”
She was 80 years old when she was diagnosed with cancer. Now she is 86 and has great health.
Mr. Fang Quits the Party
A while later, I saw Mr. Feng walking on the street with a walking stick. I walked up to him and asked: “What happened to you? Are you all right?” He replied, “My leg hurts.”
“Do you want to know more about Falun Dafa? Maybe it will help to reduce the pain in your leg,” I suggested.
He smiled and said, “How could I not know how great Falun Dafa is after my wife's cancer got cured! Now I believe everything you said.”
“Then do you want to quit the Party now?” I asked.
“Yes, I want to quit the Party,” he agreed without any hesitation.
When I saw him several days later, he wasn't using the walking stick anymore. He said to me with a smile: “It's really like you told me. My leg doesn't hurt anymore after I quit the Party!”
I told him, “That's the blessing you received because you believe that Falun Dafa is good.”
Since that time, whenever Mr. Feng sees me, he always happily waves to me, to remind me that he knows that Falun Dafa is good.
