Military Officer Withdraws from the CCP

(Minghui.org) This past June, I went out to tell people the facts about Falun Gong with another practitioner. We came across a tall, strong-looking man of about 50. He was dressed nicely and wore sunglasses. He was on crutches.

We greeted him and I said, “Why are you on crutches? You are still very young.”

He said, “I was careless and broke my leg.”

“These days, calamities and man-made disasters are everywhere. It's not safe anywhere. We'd better be careful.”

“Yes, I was hospitalised and the military unit paid several hundred thousand yuan for my treatment. Some people said that I was punished for my wrongdoing, but I don't believe it. I gained many benefits from the CCP. Even now during my recuperation, I am paid about 10,000 yuan a month. The CCP is very good to me.”

So he was a CCP member. I clarified the truth to him. I talked about the calamities and disasters and how corrupt the CCP is.

He asked me, “Do you practice Falun Gong?”

I replied with certainty, “Yes. Have you heard about the 'three withdrawals' to keep yourself safe?”

He got angry and shouted at me, “How dare you say this to my face!”

I knew the CCP's evil factors were controlling him and that's what caused his anger. I looked him straight in the eye and said with strong righteous thoughts, “Yes, I dare to talk to you about this. You will not report me to the police, will you?”

He softened a lot and lowered his voice. “I will not report you. Falun Gong doesn't harm me. But it is not allowed to discuss Falun Gong in my military unit.”

We tried to persuade him to withdraw from the CCP, but he said, “The CCP gives me a salary and I will follow the CCP to the end.”

We were not moved by his attitude. One of us was sending forth righteous thoughts to clear away the CCP evil factors and the Party culture in his head, while the other told him what Falun Gong is and how the CCP persecutes Falun Gong. We said that the CCP has killed 80 million Chinese people in its various political movements and that Heaven will eliminate it due to its wrongdoing. Only by quitting the CCP can one be safe and secure. We talked to him for over ten minutes and finally he understood and agreed to withdraw from the CCP. He kept thanking us with a big smile on his face as we left him.

That was a precious ten minutes, and for a previously unreasonable CCP military officer, it was no doubt hard to choose to withdraw from the CCP, yet he thanked us from the bottom of his heart.
