(Minghui.org) Since 2013, more of Chongqing's residents have realized the truth about Falun Gong due to our efforts to talk to them and give them factual information. More and more people acknowledge that the persecution is wrong and many of them are actively seeking to know more about Falun Gong.
A Taxi Driver Eager for Information
While a practitioner took a taxi, she explained the facts to the driver, who gladly agreed to withdraw from the Chinese Communist Party. He also wanted informational materials, but the practitioner had run out. He asked, “Do you have any at your home? If you do, I will drop you off near your home so that you can get me some.” She was very happy to do so. After she spent ten to twenty minutes to find the materials and rushed back out, the taxi driver was still waiting for her. As we know, taxi drivers are usually very sensitive to time. He could have picked up a new fare in those twenty minutes, but he chose to wait in order to get more information about Falun Gong. His knowing side was aware that this information was more precious than money.
Out of Gratitude, a Man Pays for a Practitioner's Breakfast
One senior practitioner usually talks to people about the persecution at a cafe during breakfast time. She normally could help five people quit the Communist Party over a glass of soy milk. Then, she would go to another table to have a bowl of porridge and persuade five more people to withdraw during that time. One day, when she went to pay the bill, the manager told her that a customer whom she persuaded to quit the Party had paid her bill. The customer left a message saying that he appreciated her help and was glad to pay for her breakfast.
The Truth Spreads Far and Wide
One practitioner clarified the truth about Falun Gong at a nearby construction site and led about three hundred workers to withdraw from the Party. Soon, the message passed from one employee to another. Many employees who were inside heard about it and asked the workers outside to ask the practitioner to help them to quit the Communist Party as well.
In the early days of the persecution it was difficult to help people see through the Communist regime's lies. Now, however, as more people understand the truth it has had a snowball effect and more people have the courage to speak out and inform others as well.
