(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes persecution that took place in 10 cities or counties in 4 provinces. According to this report, 11 practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during detention, and at least 6 practitioners were illegally arrested.

10. [Wulumuqi, Xinjiang Province] Ms. Yang Yuqin Arrested
1. [Shihezi, Xinjiang Province] Mr. Lu Weihong Sentenced to Three Years' Imprisonment
Mr. Lu Weihong was arrested by the domestic security agents from Shihezi in 2013. He was recently sentenced to three years' imprisonment.
Back in 2001, Mr. Lu was sentenced to nine years in prison.
2. [Wulian County, Shandong Province] Mr. Zhang Qingtang Detained and Mr. Qin Sitong Sentenced
Mr. Zhang Qingtang was arrested on January 10, 2014. He is being detained in the Wulian Detention Center.
Mr. Qin Sitong was recently sentenced to a term of four years.
3. [Shouguang, Shandong Province] Additional Information about the Arrest of Mr. Li Yuping
Mr. Li Yuping, 59, was arrested by the local police and his home was ransacked on the morning of February 24, 2014. He is being held at the Shengcheng Police Station in Shouguang.
4. [Jixi, Heilongjiang Province] Daughter and Son-in-Law of Mr. Wang Xingbao Arrested
Mr. Wang Xingbao's daughter was arrested at home and her husband was arrested at his office on the afternoon of February 23, 2014. The couple was taken to the Diangonglu Police Station but was released that evening.
5. [Fushun, Liaoning Province] Mr. Li Guangwen Arrested
Mr. Li Guangwen from Fushun went to work as a laborer in Shenyang. He was arrested by officers from the Dadong District Domestic Security Division in Shenyang City when he went to work in Shenyang on January 18, 2014. He is being held at the Dadong District Detention Center.
6. [Fumeng County, Liaoning Province] Mr. Li Yongchang Arrested
Mr. Li Yongchang from Laohetu, Fumeng County, was arrested at home on the afternoon of February 15, 2014.
7. [Shenyang, Liaoning Province] Ms. Lou Amei Arrested
Ms. Lou Amei, 66, was arrested on February 12, 2014.
8. [Daxinganling, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Yang Mingyue Tortured
Ms. Yang Mingyue from Jiagedaqi, Daxinganling, was arrested by Li Hailong from the Jiagedaqi Domestic Security Division and officers from the Hongqi Police Station on October 21, 2013. She was taken to the Jiagedaqi Detention Center. The guard handcuffed her the bars and beat her for refusing to wear the detainee uniform. Ms. Yang went on a hunger strike to protest the persecution.
9. [Suihua, Heilongjiang Province] Additional Information about the Arrest of Six Practitioners
Ms. Liu Xiulian, Ms. Yuan Lizhen, Mr. Zhou Shuqian, Ms. Zhang Qin, Ms. Liu Xia, and Mr. Xiong Hongwei drove to Jinhe Township and distributed flyers about Falun Gong on the night of February 13, 2014. They were arrested by officers from the Jinhe Police Station and the Beilin District 610 Office in Suihua. They are being held at the Suihua Detention Center.
10. [Wulumuqi, Xinjiang Province] Ms. Yang Yuqin Arrested
Ms. Yang Yuqin from the Wulumuqi Railraod Bureau was arrested while distributing flyers about Falun Gong on February 13, 2014.
