(Minghui.org) For the Chinese New Year's celebration I bought beef at the grocery market and discovered that I had shortchanged the butcher. He wasn't there when I returned, but fortunately, I found him again. It turned into an opportunity to show him and his colleagues the goodness of Falun Gong practitioners.
I told the young butcher about Falun Gong. I said to him, “If you recite, 'Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good,' and 'Falun Gong is good,' you will have good fortune.” I suggested that he withdraw from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations in order to guarantee his safety. He withdrew using his real name.
Practitioners have helped Chinese people to learn the real history of the CCP and the facts of the persecution of Falun Gong—both of which are covered up by communist propaganda in China, and they help them renounce their party membership.
There were other butchers there and I recommended that they also withdraw from the CCP. I was so absorbed in talking with them that I didn't realize I had shortchanged the young butcher 100 yuan.
I rode my motor bike back but he had already left. I didn't know what to do. In my heart, I reached out to the Master of Falun Gong, who teaches practitioners the principle of truthfulness, and said, “Master, I don't want to miss this opportunity to reimburse the butcher.”
I found the butcher a short while later and said, “Young man, you calculated incorrectly, I owe you 100 yuan.” He seemed taken aback at first, thanked me and tried to give me some meat. I refused and told him that Falun Gong taught me to be a good person. The butcher told the other people there what had happened. A few butchers said, “Few people are so honest these days.”
I said to them, “The scoundrel CCP is breaking the law, persecuting Falun Gong, imprisoning kind people, and transplanting organs from living people for huge profits. There is a saying, “Good is rewarded and evil is punished.” The heavens will not let this go unpunished, and the CCP is doomed to be destroyed. Please don't be dragged down with the CCP, and withdraw your membership. This is for your own safety.”
Five of the butchers withdrew their memberships, four of whom used their real names. One butcher had never belonged to the CCP but I asked him to share “Falun Gong is good,” with his family. I gave them New Year calendars and pamphlets with information about Falun Gong and the persecution.
The young butcher thanked me and wished me a happy long life. He said, “Good people are rewarded,” asked where I lived and insisted on bringing me a small reward of meat next time.
I told him that he should thank the Master of Falun Gong and to often recite, “Falun Gong is good,” and he will have good fortune.
He kept saying, “Good, good good. 'Falun Gong is good.'”
