(Minghui.org) While telling people about Falun Gong and the persecution in China, I encountered many moving stories. I would like to share some of them.
"I want extras to give to my friends and relatives”
A man once told me that he watched the Shen Yun DVD from last year and loved it very much. He said that he had foot pain before watching it, but afterward the pain disappeared. His neighbor then wanted to watch it also, and took the DVD home with him. He asked me if this year I could give him several Shen Yun DVDs.
“I love to read and listen to Falun Gong materials!”
Last month, I gave a DVD to a man who repairs bicycles for a living. The elderly man next to him inquired as to whether I practice Falun Gong. I said yes.
The elderly man asked me: "Why did you give him a DVD but not me?" "I love to read and listen to Falun Gong materials! Please give me whatever you have in the future."
I asked the man if he had heard of quitting the Chinese Communist Party for his safety and peace. He said he had but was not sure how to do it. I told him I could help him, and he accepted and thanked me many times.
“I understood everything”
A young man who managed a chain shop told me, "I watched the Shen Yun DVD you gave me. When I watched it for the first time, I thought it was so beautiful. When I watched the second time, I thought it was really meaningful. After the third time, I understood everything."
He then asked me for Falun Gong books and lecture DVDs. He said he and his wife had decided to start practicing Falun Gong.
“You are a fortune teller. Why do you believe in Falun Gong?”
A fortune teller on the street repeated "Falun Dafa is good" every day.
Someone asked him: "You are a fortune teller. Why do you believe in Falun Gong?"
He answered: "I had back pain for 19 years. In 2006 I was told to repeat, 'Falun Dafa is good; Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance is good.' I did this for several days, and my back pain disappeared. I was never bothered with back pain again. I would be a fool if I didn't continue to repeat it daily.”
"It has brought me good health, a good family, and good business”
A store manager shouted "Falun Dafa is good" whenever he saw me. I asked him whether he repeated it every day. He said he did and had been for several years now.
"How do you feel after you say, 'Falun Dafa is good'?" I asked.
"It has brought me good health, a good family, and good business. Don't you think it is worth doing every day?” he replied.
"Of course," I said. "Even better is it to practice Falun Gong!"
“These are from Falun Gong practitioners. They are all good people!"
Mr. Li ran a rice shop and a Mahjong club. He said that after I told him about Falun Gong, all his illnesses went away, and his business is booming.
"I don't know a better way to thank you," he said. "I try to use the paper currency with information about Falun Gong written on them as much as I can."
He also brought DVDs and booklets to the Mahjong players and told them, "Take them and have a look. These are from Falun Gong practitioners. They are all good people!"
“I am the police commissioner here...I won't stop any of you”
An army officer I used to serve with retired and became a local police commissioner. I visited him and tried to tell him about Falun Gong.
"I know how bad the Communist Party is. They are really bad. What you say is true!” He said.
"I am the police commissioner here. You can distribute Falun Gong materials as much as you want. I won't stop any of you."
Then he continued, "When the Communist Party falls, I will learn Falun Gong, too."
