Additional Persecution News from China – May 29, 2015 (11 Reports)

(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 11 cities or counties in 8 provinces. According to this report, 4 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 13 practitioners were illegally arrested.

1. [Chengdu, Sichuan Province] Ms. Chen Guangzhong Arrested

Over 20 officers broke into Mr. Chen Guangzhong's home and arrested him on May 27, 2015. Officers also seized over 30,000 yuan in cash.

Ms. Wei Zaixiu's home was also ransacked. Two printers and a laptop computer were confiscated. Ms. Wei's whereabouts are unknown.

2. [Zhaoyuan, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Sha Xianzhi Taken to Brainwashing Center

Ms. Sha Xianzhi was taken to the Daqing Brainwashing Center on May 28, 2015.

3. [Zhengzhou, Henan Province] Three Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Tang Suju and other two practitioners were arrested by officers from the Xushui Police Station on May 25, 2015, for talking to the public about the persecution of Falun Gong. Ms. Tang is being held in the Zhongyuan Detention Center for a term of 15 days. The other two practitioners were released.

4. [Songyuan, Jilin Province] Three Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Huang Ying was arrested near the apartment building where she lives on May 22, 2015, by officers from the Ningjiang Police Department Domestic Security Division and the Xincheng Police Station. They also arrested Mr. Xin Guoquan and his wife Ms. Zhou Yelin that day.

Mr. Xin was released. Ms. Huang and Ms. Zhou are being held in the Shanyou Detention Center.

5. [Xianning, Hubei Province] Two Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Li Sibao and Ms. Chen Wangqiu from Chibi were arrested on May 25, 2015, for distributing informational materials about Falun Gong and Shen Yun Performing Arts DVDs. They were taken to the Chibi Police Department. Ms. Chen was released that afternoon. Ms. Li was taken to the Banqiao Brainwashing Center in Wuhan City.

6. [Daqing, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Zhao Wenguang Arrested

Zhang Ziqiang and other officers from the Huizhan Police Department in Sartu District broke into Mr. Zhao Wenguang's home and arrested him on May 28, 2015. They also seized many Falun Gong books, a computer, a color inkjet printer, a cell phone, and other items.

7. [Maoming, Guangdong Province] Mr. Wu Jinshui and Ms. Tao Yonghong Detained

Mr. Wu Jinshui was arrested at his residence on May 27, 2015 by agents from the Maoming 610 Office and the Maoming Police Department Domestic Security Division. They also arrested Ms. Tao Yonghong that day. Mr. Wu and Ms. Tao are being held in the Guandu Police Station.

8. [Chongqing] Mr. Yang Hong Held in Brainwashing Center

Mr. Yang Hong from the Jiangbei District was arrested by plainclothes officers on April 28, 2015. He is being held in the Qianzhugou Brainwashing Center.

9. [Nanning, Guangxi Province] Mr. Wu Tiejun Detained

Mr. Wu Tiejun was recently arrested for distributing informational materials about Falun Gong. He is being held in the Nanning No.1 Detention Center.

10. [Qingdao, Shandong Province] Ms. Wang Taojing Detained

Ms. Wang Taojing was arrested for raising awareness about the persecution of Falun Gong on May 27, 2015. She is being held in the Changjianglu Police Station in Huangdao Development Zone.

11. [Wuhan, Hubei Province] Ms. Zhu Chunlian Arrested

Ms. Zhu Chunlian was arrested by agents from the 610 Office and the Domestic Security Division on April 27, 2015, for distributing Shen Yun Performing Arts DVDs. She was taken to the Yejinjie Police Station and interrogated. Ms. Zhu was released that evening.
