1. [Jiamusi City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Li Suxian Taken to Prison

Ms. Li Suxian, 71, was taken to the Heilongjiang Women’s Prison on October 27, 2021.

Ms. Li was sentenced to two years and three months in prison by the Xiangyang District Court on March 18. The detention center refused to admit her for health reasons. She was released on bail. On August 6, bailiffs from Xiangyang Court took Ms. Li for a physical examination and then took her directly to the Huanan Detention Center.

2. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Liu Shuping Held in Custody

Ms. Liu Shuping from Dumeng County was arrested in April 2021. It was reported recently that Ms. Liu was held in the Longfeng No. 2 Detention Center. She remains in custody after seven months, which far exceeds the legally allowed length of time the police can detain someone.

3. [Yanji City, Jilin Province] Cases Against Ms. Jin Huixin and Ms. Tai Zhenzi Turned Over to Procuratorate

Ms. Jin Huixin, in her 70s, and Ms. Tai Zhenzi, 77, who are both of Korean descent, were summoned by the Yanji City Police Department at the end of October 2021. The cases against them have been turned over to the Yanji City Procuratorate.

Both elderly practitioners were arrested by plainclothes officers while they distributed Falun Gong materials in September, 2020. The police ransacked their homes and confiscated Falun Gong books and printed materials. After interrogating them, the officers released them that evening.

4. [Anshan City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Jiao Hengqing Held in Detention Center

Mr. Jiao Hengqing was reported to the police while posting Falun Gong materials on October 18, 2021. He was arrested and detained for 15 days, before the authorities changed it to criminal detention. Mr. Jiao is currently being held in the Anshan City No. 1 Detention Center.

5. [Suining City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Meng Daole Sentenced to Prison; Three Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Meng Daole, 76, was again arrested by officers from the Kaixuan Road Police Station in mid-October 2021. She was held in the Yongxing Detention Center and was interrogated several times. She was sentenced to six months in prison in late October.

Ms. Xiang Deyu, 83, Ms. Wu Yulan, 67, and Ms. Liu Jinyu, 80, were arrested with Ms. Meng Daole in mid-April 2021 when the four of them were talking to people about Falun Gong. Their homes were ransacked.

6. [Qinhuangdao City, Hebei Province] Zhang Lunping Arrested

Zhang Lunping (gender unknown) was reported to the police while talking to people about Falun Gong in Daxinzhai Town, Funing District, on the morning of November 10, 2021. Officers from the Daxinzhai Police Station arrested Zhang and took Zhang to the Funing District Domestic Security Division. Zhang’s current whereabouts are unknown.

7. [Mianyang City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Su Nan and Her Mother Ms. Li Shuqin Followed

Ms. Su Nan, who lives in the Mianyang Science City area, was arrested and taken to the Mianyang Detention Center on April 9, 2021. She went on a hunger strike for 15 days and was released on May 14. Ms. Su and her mother Ms. Li Shuqin have been watched and followed.

8. [Shanghai] Practitioners Zhu and Yan Arrested

Practitioners Zhu and Yan (their first names and genders are unknown) from the Minhang District were on Gumei Road around 10 a.m. on October 5, 2021. They were forcibly pulled into a police car by police officers and taken to the Gumei Police Station. The officers interrogated them, forcibly gave them a medical examination and searched their bags. They then ransacked both practitioners’ homes.

Zhu was released that evening. Yan was taken to the Minhang District Detention Center for 15 days of detention.

After Yan went home, staff members in the Gumei Sub-district Administration Office kept making phone calls and visiting Yan’s home. Yan had to leave Shanghai. These people threatened to monitor Yan 24 hours a day if Yan did not leave Shanghai.

Practitioner Zhu was forced to leave Shanghai as well.

9. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Ms. Chen Shujun’s Son Harassed

People from the Pingdu City Political and Legal Affairs Administration and 610 Office again went to the workplace of Ms. Chen Shujun’s son on November 1, 2021. They pressured him to write guarantee statements. This harassment has put tremendous pressure on Ms. Chen’s family.

10. [Linyi City, Shandong Province] Mr. Wen Dehuai Arrested

Mr. Wen Dehuai from Huanggouya Village, Dayuanzi Township, Tancheng County, was arrested by officers from the Guichang Police Station in September 2021.

11. [Yushu City, Jilin Province] Mr. Xu Yaxuan and His Son Mr. Xu Xiangyang Harassed

Officers from the Zhengyang Police Station went to Mr. Xu Yaxuan’s home and ransacked the place on the afternoon of November 4, 2021. They confiscated a booklet for an older version of the Firefox browser. They also arrested Mr. Xu’s son Mr. Xu Xiangyang and released him on the same day.

12. [Chenzhou City, Hunan Province] Ms. Deng Guangcai and Ms. Ling Yuzhi Taken to Brainwashing Center

Ms. Deng Guangcai was arrested and taken to the Xiameiqiao Brainwashing Center. Her son signed paperwork and took her home.

Ms. Ling Yuzhi, in her 80's, was reported to the police for distributing Falun Gong materials on the morning of November 4, 2021. She was arrested by patrol police and taken to the brainwashing center. Her daughter had to sign paperwork before she brought Ms. Ling home.

13. [Dingzhou City, Hebei Province] Ms. Li Qing Harassed

Four people from the Nancheng Police Station, Nancheng District Government, and Zou Zhihua from the Zhongxin Street Community Management Office went to Ms. Li Qing’s work unit to ask her if she still practiced Falun Gong. They pressured her to sign the transcript of their inquiries, which she refused.

14. [Handan City, Hebei Province] Mr. Zhang Yuexin Harassed

Officers from the Shengliqiao Police Station, Fuxing District, called Mr. Zhang Yuexin several times on November 8, 2021, and asked him to go to the police station. Mr. Zhang went there the next morning. It turned out that the officers wanted to take blood samples from him, which he refused. He went home. The officers went to Mr. Zhang’s home to draw his blood, which he again refused.

15. [Pengzhou City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Zhang Cuixian and Ms. Lei Zhoulan Harassed

Party secretary Zhao Chengyao of the Mamuhe Village in Longfeng Sub-district, and village women’s association director Xiao Yan, went to practitioners’ homes in the village on the morning of November 7, 2021.

They went to Ms. Zhang Cuixian’s home, but she was not there. They then went to Ms. Lei Zhoulan’s home, ransacked the place, confiscated two photos of the founder of Falun Gong, a calendar, Chinese New Year paintings, and keepsakes. They tore down the couplet about Falun Gong.

16. [Donggang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Liu Mei and Ms. Zhang Li Arrested

Ms. Liu Mei and Ms. Zhang Li were reported to the police while talking to people about Falun Gong and distributing calendars at the Qifang farmers market on the morning of November 7, 2021. They were arrested by officers from the Xiangyang Police Station.

Both practitioners are being held in the Dandong City Detention Center. Ms. Zhang was placed under administrative detention for 15 days from November 8 to November 23. Ms. Liu was placed under administrative detention for 15 days from November 9 to November 24.

17. [Guan County, Shandong Province] Four Practitioners Taken to Detention Center

Sun Yueqin, Zhang Xifang, Zhang Meihua, and Xu Mingxia from Xiedian Township were arrested and taken to a detention center by officers from the Feixiang District Police Department.

18. [Pengzhou City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Hu Yiyin Dismissed from Work

The Pengzhou City Police Department, Pengzhou Education Bureau, and the Sanjie Town Police Station jointly put pressure on the Hongpingguo Kindergarten in Sanjie Town. The kindergarten principal had no choice and dismissed practitioner Mr. Hu Yiyin.

19. [Pengzhou City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Chen Yuanfen Harassed

About twelve people, including Xiao Yijun and others from the Li’an Community Management Office, Tianpeng Town, Yu Tao from Fanjiang Road Police Station, and Wang Jing from Qili Community Management Office, went to Ms. Chen Yuanfen’s home on November 12, 2021. They pressured Ms. Chen to sign guarantee statements renouncing Falun Gong, which she refused.

20. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Lan Yaqin Arrested

Officers from the Jianshe Street Police Station ransacked Ms. Lan Yaqin’s home on November 12, 2021. They confiscated photos of the founder of Falun Gong, a brochure of Legal Toolkit for Falun Gong Practitioners to Protect Themselves, and legal provisions she transcribed. Afterwards the officers took her to the police station for questioning while taking notes. Ms. Chen refused to sign the transcript and was taken home at 7 p.m.

21. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Yang Xingyuan and Ms. Liu Shuzhen Arrested

Officers from the Longgang Police Department called Ms. Yang Xingyuan on the morning of November 2, 2021. They insisted she go to the police station to sign paperwork, which she refused. The officers arrested her and took her to the Dumeng Detention Center, but her family was not allowed to visit her. The detention center did not allow her family to send in any clothes or daily necessities either. Instead they told her family to pay 600 yuan. The officers confiscated all of her Falun Gong books and photos of the founder of Falun Gong.

Ms. Liu Shuzhen was also arrested. The details of her situation are not clear.

22. [Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] Three Practitioners Arrested

Zhou Li, Wang Bingcheng, and Liu Peng were arrested and their homes were ransacked on October 9, 2021.

Currently, Wang and Liu are being held in the Tangu Police Station in Chang’an District. Zhou’s whereabouts are unknown.
