Master Always Grants My Wishes

(Minghui.org) I started practicing Falun Dafa in June 1998. Over the past 20 plus years, I have experienced some emotional ups and downs. I wouldn’t have pulled through without Master’s compassionate salvation and protection. I would like to share some of my cultivation experiences with you.

When I first started to practice, I read the book Zhuan Falun four times, and the practitioner who introduced me to Falun Dafa encouraged me to go to a practice site and do the exercises.

So early in the morning of the next day I went to the practice site. When I arrived, practitioners were doing the second exercise (holding the wheel). When I followed their movements, an elderly practitioner smiled and said, “This exercise can be a little challenging. You’re new to the practice, so just hold the position as long as you can.” I was determined to finish the exercise.

The last few minutes were indeed quite challenging. My arms were sore and I was perspiring. Still, I held on and finished. The practitioner gave me a warm smile.

After that day, I studied the Fa and practiced the exercises every day. Within two weeks, my “celestial eye” opened and I could see Falun falling like snowflakes, and they were everywhere. I also saw gong (energy) columns, colorful halos, and many other wonderful things. “This Dafa is wonderful. Falun Dafa’s Master and all the practitioners are so nice,” I thought. “I wish I could find a regular Fa-study group and study the Fa and cultivate myself everyday.”

Not long after I had that wish, the barber shop I was running out of town had to be closed due to various reasons, so I moved back to my hometown. I was thrilled to find that there was a Fa-study group near my home, and the practitioners in this Fa-study group were diligent.

We practiced the exercises every morning, regardless of the weather or holidays. We read the Fa beginning at 9:00 a.m. every day, and then did the five sets of exercises. Every Sunday, we went to a large public area to do the exercises and tell people about Falun Dafa. Ours was truly a diligent Fa- study group, and I was very grateful that my wish came true thanks to Master’s arrangement! We focused on Fa-study and cultivation, and everyone’s xinxing improved rapidly. The group continued until July 20, 1999 when the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) began persecuting Falun Dafa.

My Barber Shop

From 2005 to 2008, I was running a barber shop in the wing of someone else’s house, where there was no sunlight in the morning and it was exposed to drafts. Life was difficult, and I had no money to buy coal in winter to keep warm. My hands and feet were always cold, and I had to fetch water from the landlord’s main house, which was a lot of extra work.

Each time I went to fetch water, I could feel the brightness and warmth in the main house, and was hit by the sharp contrast of the dim coldness when I returned to my barber shop. I thought: I wish I could have a bright, warm place with big glass windows, and plenty of sunlight. My barber shop would have a number of water taps that I could use.

Spring came, and my family’s land was requisitioned. The compensation fee I received was just enough to buy a place I wished for. We lived on the ground floor, the rooms had big glass windows and four water taps, and I could use whichever one I liked. I also opened a barber shop, which enabled me to make money and save people at the same time. Most of my customers learned the truth about Falun Dafa and quit the CCP organizations. My wish came true again with Master’s help!

In 2016, my husband and I started to make truth-clarification materials ourselves and distributed them wherever we could. Every week, we took two to three hundred truth-clarification materials to distribute in rural areas. We went by car, and distributed materials in each village we came across and clarified the truth to everyone we met. We were happy.

We kept doing this until one day in 2019. One morning my husband and I were reported to the police by people who listened to the CCP’s lies. We were taken to the police station, then to a detention center, and we were later sentenced to three years in prison.

Our Environment Changes

When we were about to be released, I had two wishes: My first wish was that I could change my environment when I returned home, so that I could memorize the Fa and adjust my cultivation state; the other was that we could have pension entitlement (unlawfully imprisoned Falun Dafa practitioners are often deprived of this). My husband also had a wish: I don’t want my wife run a barber shop again. I will provide for her so that she is free to clarify the truth to people anytime she wants to.

My husband told me his wish after we got back home, so we decided to move to the second floor where my father-in-law used to live (he passed away while we were illegally detained).

My husband’s older brother came to see us that evening and told us that he had been paying a pension savings plan for my husband while he was in jail, and if everything went well, my husband would be able to get pension payments beginning next year. We were very pleased to hear the news and were very grateful.

Sure enough, after February the following year, we went through the retirement procedures with no hiccups, and two months later, my husband started to receive his pension payments. With back pay and refund money, we were able to reimburse his brother. Everyone was happy with the outcome.

My husband and I burned incense in front of Master’s portrait the next day. We knelt and thanked Master for helping us realize our wishes, and we could now have a stable income to enable us to do the three things well. Thank you, Master!

My greatest wish is to cultivate as diligently as when I first started to practice, and return with our Master. My husband and I focus on Fa-study and cultivating our xinxing. We get up at three o’clock every morning and do the exercises together. After a quick breakfast, we read the Fa before going out to clarify the truth to people, rain or shine, no matter how tired we are. We are always very happy. We also try to memorize the book Zhuan Falun, poems in Hong Yin VI, as well as Master’s new articles, such as “How Humankind Came To Be”, “Why Save Sentient Beings”, etc. We check each other to make sure that we don’t make any mistakes in our recitation. Time passes quickly and we enjoy every minute!

We burn incense and kowtow to Master every day. I always say: Master! Thank you for saving us and all sentient beings. Thank you for your loving kindness to us and all sentient beings. We will cultivate ourselves well and eliminate all our bad thoughts that are not in line with the Fa principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. We will eliminate the elements of the CCP culture that interferes with us, and will assimilate ourselves with the Fa and save more people!

I also say: Master, I want to be safe when I go out to talk to people. Please help bring those that are predestined to me to be saved. Please encourage them to read “How Humankind Came To Be” so that they won’t miss the precious opportunity they have been waiting for, for millions of years!

I hold such a wish every day, and I always send righteous thoughts to clean out my own dimensional field and eliminate any interference before I go out to clarify the truth to people. I also recite a couple of poems in Hong Yin VI, thinking there would be people right outside, waiting to hear the truth and be saved.

Indeed, almost every time I step out, I meet people, and some of them are very happy to quit the CCP organizations without me saying much. I truly feel that Master is helping me all the time!

I have benefited a lot from reciting poems in Hong Yin VI, which has strongly strengthened my righteous thoughts. For example, when I see people sitting somewhere, lines in poems “With Our Lives We Await” and “What Our Lives Hope For” in Hong Yin VI would appear in my mind. It’s true that all sentient beings are waiting to be saved.

Very often, it only takes a few words from me before they agree to quit the CCP organizations. Each time I go out for just over an hour, I’m able to help between 10 to 20 people quit the CCP organizations.

I learned from poems in Hong Yin VI that most people in the world are reincarnated gods, and they had all come down to the human world with high hopes from the beings in their heavenly kingdoms. They are all kings or lords of their heavenly kingdoms. They have suffered for thousands of years lifetime after lifetime, waiting for Master to come and save them, and Dafa disciples had all signed a vow with Master to help him save people during the Fa-rectification period. How magnificent all this is!

It’s with this understanding that I go out to save people every day, regardless of the weather, cold or hot, windy or rainy, even when there is a torrential downpour. I thought: As long as I go out, Master will arrange people for me to talk to. In fact, it is our Master who is saving people, and all we do is to go out and talk to people.

No language is sufficient to express the sacredness and honor we feel, being in the same time period with our Master and Dafa. We cherish it deeply!
