(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 13 cities or counties in 8 provinces, where at least 20 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

2. [Huludao City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Gao Shufen Sentenced to Eighteen Months in Prison
3. [Qishan County, Shaanxi Province] Ms. Liu Huixia and Ms. Yang Lingfen Arrested
4. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Mr. Sun Chengfu Detained
5. [Zhuanghe City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wang Guihong Sentenced to Ten Months in Prison
6. [Bazhou City, Hebei Province] Ms. Li Xiuying Arrested and Detained
7. [Kunming City, Yunnan Province] Three Practitioners Arrested

1. [Qixia City, Shandong Province] Mr. Liu Jinbo Sentenced to Four Years in Prison
Mr. Liu Jinbo from Juwu Village of Guanli Town, was arrested for posting stickers. He was sentenced to four years in prison by the Qixia City Court on April 17, 2024.
2. [Huludao City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Gao Shufen Sentenced to Eighteen Months in Prison
Ms. Gao Shufen, who lives in Bajiazi Town, Jianchang County, had a stroke due to the persecution and is now paralyzed. She was tried at home by the Lianshan District Court on April 25, 2024. The verdict was delivered to her home on the morning of May 30, 2024. Ms. Gao was fined 5000 yuan and sentenced to eighteen months in prison with residential surveillance for six months.
3. [Qishan County, Shaanxi Province] Ms. Liu Huixia and Ms. Yang Lingfen Arrested
Ms. Liu Huixia was arrested at home in Henglihuayuan on May 22, 2024. Ms. Yang Lingfen was arrested on the afternoon of May 22, 2024. It is unknown where they are detained.
4. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Mr. Sun Chengfu Detained
Mr. Sun Chengfu is currently being held in the Weizigou Detention Center.
5. [Zhuanghe City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wang Guihong Sentenced to Ten Months in Prison
Ms. Wang Guihong was tried online by the Pulandian Court in May 2024 and was sentenced to ten months in prison and fined 6,000 yuan.
Ms. Wang was sent to a detention center. She was subjected to brainwashing and was ordered to report on other practitioners. She lost her hearing because she was forced to listen to high-pitched propaganda programs that slandered Falun Gong. She was also administered medicines against her will.
6. [Bazhou City, Hebei Province] Ms. Li Xiuying Arrested and Detained
Ms. Li Xiuying was arrested by officers from the Dongyangzhuang Township Police Station in mid-April 2024, and her home was ransacked. The police confiscated her Falun Gong books, wall posters, amulets, cash, etc. Ms. Li was held for five days in a detention center.
7. [Kunming City, Yunnan Province] Three Practitioners Arrested
Ms. Zhang Jinbo from Kunming, in her 50s, Ms. Qing Yunqing from Kunming, in her 40s, and Mr. Wang Wei from Yuxi City, went to Luzhi Town in Yimen County of Yuxi City on May 3, 2024. Ms. Zhang Jinbo was arrested by officers from Yimen County a few days later, after she returned from Kunming City. Her home was ransacked. Mr. Wang Wei was also arrested. The two practitioners are currently being held in the Yuxi City Detention Center.
Ms. Qing Yunqing was arrested at home on May 11, 2024, and her home was ransacked. The police confiscated two computers, her Falun Gong books, and other personal belongings. Ms. Qing was released on bail pending trial.
8. [Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] Mr. Zhou Yinli and Zhang Xiqing Arrested
Mr. Zhou Yinli from Meihua Village of Meihua Town, Gaocheng District, and Zhang Xiqing from Mazhuang Village of Nanying Town, Gaocheng District, were reported to the police for distributing truth-clarifying materials, and were arrested by officers from the Meihua Town Police Station on the morning of May 28, 2024. The two practitioners were taken to the Gaocheng District Detention Center. Zhang Xiqing was released on the evening of May 29, 2024.
9. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Ms. Wang Yanzhi Missing
Ms. Wang Yanzhi was pressured to make a statement in the Xindihao Police Station on May 28, 2024. It is unknown whether Ms. Wang went there or not. She is now missing.
10. [Nong’an County, Jilin Province] Ms. Jiang Yuhua Arrested and Detained
Ms. Jiang Yuhua, 70, lives alone. She was arrested at home by officers from the Baota Police Station on April 29, 2024, and her home was ransacked. She was taken to the police station, where she refused to cooperate and was brutally beaten by He Baoyu, head of the police station. He Baoyu pulled her hair and viciously kicked her. Her body is covered in bruises.
Ms. Jiang was taken to a detention house. She started a hunger strike with no food or water. She was released five days later.
11. [Macheng City, Hubei Province] Ms. Fang Hongbin and Ms. Hu Bibo Arrested
Ms. Fang Hongbin and Ms. Hu Bibo were reported to the police for talking to people about Falun Gong in Zhongyi Town, and were arrested by officers from the Zhongyi Town Police Station on the afternoon of May 29, 2024.
12. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Zhang Shuzhen Persecuted
Ms. Zhang Shuzhen, 75, is the oldest sister of Ms. Zhang Shuqin, who has passed away. The police went to her home on April 19, 2024 in an attempt to arrest her after they arrested Ms. Du Xiuyan. The police ransacked Ms. Zhang’s home and confiscated her Falun Gong books, a photo of Falun Gong’s founder, cell phones, etc. Ms. Zhang has been staying away from her home to avoid further persecution.
13. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Mr. Yang Xingrong Arrested and Detained
Mr. Yang Xingrong, 78, from Zhifu District, was arrested by officers from the Nanshan Road Police Station on May 10, 2024. The police ransacked his home and confiscated his computer, printer, and other belongings. Mr. Yang is currently being held in the Yantai City Detention Center.
