(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 11 cities or counties in 7 provinces, where at least 33 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.
1. [Jinan City, Shandong Province] Four Practitioners Arrested
2. [Guyuan County, Hebei Province] Four Practitioners Arrested
3. [Fenxi County, Shanxi Province] Ms. Wang Jumei Detained
4. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Guan Ping Arrested
5. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Tian Yaxiu Detained
6. [Changli County, Hebei Province] Four Practitioners Arrested or Harassed
7. [Beijing] Ms. Wang Baizhi Arrested
8. [Wafangdian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Liu Jinhua Detained
9. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Ren Xiuqin Placed under Residential Surveillance
10. [Beijing] Ms. Yu Peiling Released After Serving a 2.5-Year Term
11. [Huaihua City, Hunan Province] Ms. Zhong Liancong Released After Serving Three Years
12. [Anshun City, Guizhou Province] Three Practitioners Detained
13. [Laizhou City, Shandong Province] Ten Practitioners Arrested or Harassed
1. [Jinan City, Shandong Province] Four Practitioners Arrested
Ms. Wang Ping, Ms. Feng Qingdong, Ms. Song Yan, and Mr. Wang Fuxing were arrested on the morning of September 29, 2025.
2. [Guyuan County, Hebei Province] Four Practitioners Arrested
Ms. Bai Shuping, Ms. Wu Jinxiang, Ms. Liu Suping, and Ms. Wang Aihua were arrested on September 26, 2025. The police ransacked Ms. Bai and Ms. Wu’s homes.
Ms. Bai was detained for 9 days, Ms. Wu and Ms. Liu were each detained for 13 days, and Ms. Wang’s situation wasn’t clear.
3. [Fenxi County, Shanxi Province] Ms. Wang Jumei Detained
Ms. Wang Jumei’s home was ransacked by officers from the Fenxi County Police Department and the Yongan Police Station on September 28, 2025. Her Falun Gong books and computer were confiscated. When she went to the police station the next day to demand the return of her computer, she was arrested and taken to the Linfen City Detention Center.
4. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Guan Ping Arrested
Ms. Guan Ping was arrested at home in late September 2025.
5. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Tian Yaxiu Detained
Ms. Tian Yaxiu was arrested around 4 p.m. on September 29, 2025, right after she left her mother’s home. The arresting officers were from the Songbei District Police Department, Minzheng Police Station, and Taiyangdao Police Station. Ms. Tian was placed under a 15-day detention. Her and her mother’s homes were both ransacked. The police also harassed her family members over the phone.
6. [Changli County, Hebei Province] Four Practitioners Arrested or Harassed
Mr. Zhang Hemin, Ms. Shen Yanru, and Ms. Wang Ying were harassed by Xinji Police Station officers on September 22, 2025.
Ms. Zhao Changhua was arrested by four officers from the Matuodian Township Police Station on September 24, 2025. She was released on October 1, 2025.
7. [Beijing] Ms. Wang Baizhi Arrested
Ms. Wang Baizhi was arrested at home by officers from the Qiaoxin Police Station and the Huairou District Domestic Security Division on the morning of September 28, 2025, for distributing information materials about Falun Gong. Her home was ransacked. She was taken to the Shunyi District Lockup. She didn’t cooperate with the interrogation and refused to sign anything. She was released late that evening on a one-year bail.
8. [Wafangdian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Liu Jinhua Detained
Ms. Liu Jinhua was arrested on September 19, 2025. She was detained for 10 days and released on September 28, 2025.
9. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Ren Xiuqin Placed under Residential Surveillance
Ms. Ren Xiuqin was arrested on August 27, 2025. She was released on September 30, 2025, but was placed under residential surveillance for six months.
10. [Beijing] Ms. Yu Peiling Released After Serving a 2.5-Year Term
Ms. Yu Peiling was arrested on February 21, 2023, for talking to people about Falun Gong. She was sentenced to two years and six months in prison and released on August 20, 2025.
11. [Huaihua City, Hunan Province] Ms. Zhong Liancong Released After Serving Three Years
Ms. Zhong Liancong, in her 70s, was sentenced to three years in prison by the Zhijiang County Court in 2022. She served time in the Hunan Province Women’s Prison and was released in August 2025.
12. [Anshun City, Guizhou Province] Three Practitioners Detained
Ms. Huang Mingying, Ms. Luan Yuqi, and Ms. Sun Runlan were arrested in recent months. Ms. Sun was held in the Anshun City Second Detention Center and has been released. Ms. Huang and Ms. Luan are still in the same detention center and their arrests have been approved by the Anshun City Economic Development Zone Police Department.
13. [Laizhou City, Shandong Province] Ten Practitioners Arrested or Harassed
Ten practitioners were harassed by officers from the Shahe Town Police Station and the Domestic Security Division on September 25 and 26, 2025. They are: Mr. Han Fangxi and his wife Ms. Yang Shukun, Ms. Ren Yueqiao, Mr. Han Zhenping and his wife Ms. Han Fang, Ms. Pan Ruihua, Ms. Li Caixiang, Ms. Guo Hongju, Wang (first name and gender unknown) who was arrested at Ms. Guo’s home, and Ms. Xu Guangqin.
Ms. Han, Ms. Li, Ms. Guo, and Wang were taken to the Shahe Town Police Station and released later that day.
