Always Having Consideration for Others

(Minghui.org) I suffered from neurasthenia and had trouble sleeping in the past, and I was irritable and miserable. I started practicing Falun Dafa in 1998, and went to the practice site every day to do the exercises and study the Fa. I followed Falun Dafa’s principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance to be a good person. All my illnesses disappeared and I felt very comfortable. I’d like to share two cultivation experiences with you.

Not Tempted by Profit

I went to the market to sell my garlic sprouts. I put them on the scale and they weighed 135 kilograms. When a customer paid me for 185 kilograms. I pointed out the error and returned the extra money to him. He thanked me excitedly. I said, “You all know I practice Falun Dafa. Dafa’s Master asks us to be good people. If you want to thank someone, thank Master!”

He responded, “Thank you, Falun Dafa’s Master!”

Our village is in a turnip-producing area. When the turnips are harvested, many people come to buy them. One day, a customer said to me, “Please harvest 500 kilograms of turnips for me tomorrow.” When I went home and counted the money after the sale the next day, I found that she had overpaid me more than 90 yuan.

As a practitioner I couldn’t keep the extra money, so I returned it. She said I was a good person. I told her I practiced Falun Dafa and that our Master “teaches us to be truly good people.” I asked her if she had quit the Youth League or Young Pioneers (two of the Chinese Communist Party’s youth organizations). She said she had years ago.

Last summer, another customer asked me to harvest a truckload of turnips for him. When I delivered them, his client looked and said the turnips didn’t meet his standards and he didn’t want them. My customer asked me to deliver them to another client instead.

He transferred the payment to me in the evening but overpaid me by 100 yuan. I found him and returned the money. He was moved, and said, “Falun Dafa is good.”

Two Cell Phones Returned to Their Owners

While watering the fields, I found a cell phone when I checked the water pump. I picked it up and searched the phone logs so I could call the owner.

The owner arrived quickly and was happy to get his phone. I told him that I was a Dafa practitioner, and asked him, “Have you joined the CCP, the Youth League, or the Young Pioneers?” He had, so I continued, “The CCP killed 80 million people through its campaigns. Their hands are stained with Chinese peoples’ blood. Heaven will destroy them. The CCP began persecuting Falun Dafa in 1999. A naturally-engraved stone was discovered in Guizhou [Province]. It contains the naturally-formed [Chinese] characters ‘The CCP Will Perish.’ I can help you withdraw from the Youth League and Young Pioneers, and the gods and Buddhas will protect you.” He agreed, and thanked me. I said, “Thank our Master! It is Master who taught me to do this.” He thanked Master.

I found another cell phone on my way to work in the fields. I called someone on the contact list and asked him to check whose phone it was. He told me who the owner was. I said, “I’m near there. Please ask him to meet me to get his phone.”

A short while later, the person arrived. He said, “Thank you so much.” I told him not to thank me, but thank Dafa’s Master. “It’s Master who teaches us to be good people at all times.” He paid his respects to Master.
