Tourists in Sweden Support Falun Dafa and Condemn the CCP’s Persecution

At this time of year, the Nobelmuseet Museum near the old city of Stockholm is always filled with tourists on Fridays and Saturdays. Falun Dafa practitioners hold events on the weekend in front of the museum to introduce Falun Dafa to people, raise awareness about the ongoing persecution of Dafa in China, and collect signatures on a petition calling for an end to the suppression.

During the event, Falun Dafa practitioners demonstrated the exercises and provided truth-clarification materials in different languages to passersby. The graceful exercise music and the peaceful scene caused many people to pause and watch, take photos, and inquire about how they could help stop the persecution. People also took the truth-clarification materials with them after signing the petition, saying that they wanted to help spread the goodness of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance, as well as information about the persecution, with friends and family. Many people showed interest in the practice and learned the exercise movements during the event.

Tour Guide: “Falun Dafa Brings Light and Hope to the World”

One Friday afternoon, Ms. Gaia, a young tour guide, came over to the Falun Dafa booth after sending off her tourists, and read the information on the display boards in detail. Ms. Gaia is Italian. She is currently at graduate school in Sweden and is working part time as a tour guide. When she learned about the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) state-sanctioned forced organ harvesting from Falun Dafa practitioners, Ms. Gaia was appalled and signed the petition. “This criminal act must be stopped!” she said. She also wanted to know more and eagerly asked, “What is Falun Dafa? Why is the CCP persecuting Falun Dafa? How can I help you [Falun Dafa practitioners]?”

A practitioner talked to Ms. Gaia about Falun Dafa in detail and told her that in China the CCP is not just cruelly torturing Falun Dafa practitioners; they also harvest practitioners’ organs for profit while they are still alive. The practitioner also explained how the CCP has made use of pro-communist media overseas to escalate their attacks on Falun Dafa and Shen Yun Performing Arts, and throughout these years, the CCP has been employing all sorts of rogue tactics to disturb and sabotage the performances by Shen Yun Performing Arts all over the world. He said that people should be clear about the CCP’s evil nature and not be deceived or misled by its lies.

After understanding the truth, Ms. Gaia was very touched. She said that what Falun Dafa practitioners are doing brings light and hope to the world.

Ms. Gaia was especially excited when she learned about the success of the 2025 Shen Yun world tour performances. She said, “I know about this [Shen Yun]. My mom lives in Milan, Italy, and she has been telling me that this performance is really, really great after watching it! I must go and watch it next year.”

Ms. Gaia also said, “I will also help you [Falun Dafa practitioners] spread the truth to more people.” She brought many Italian tourists to the Falun Dafa booth on both days that weekend, and many visitors stopped at the booth to learn about Dafa and sign the petition calling for an end to the persecution.

Tourist from Czech Signs the Petition to Show His Support for Ending the Persecution

A couple from Czech passed by the event venue on Saturday, May 24, 2025, and was attracted by the tranquil exercises. They stood to one side quietly to watch the Falun Dafa practitioners do the exercises, and they followed along with the exercise movements.

When the man saw the truth-clarification display board exposing the CCP’s forced organ harvesting, he kept shaking his head. He then went up to talk to a practitioner. After learning more about the situation in China, he signed the petition and said that this [persecution] must be stopped.

“This is the first time that I’ve heard about Falun Dafa. I really did not expect that such a persecution is currently happening there [in China]. This definitely cannot be continued. It must be stopped. I am really thankful for your event today. It has allowed us to know such important news,” he said.

He also expressed his wish to learn more about the situation. “I will scan the QR code on the flier to learn more about this.”

He then translated the truth about the CCP’s egregious live organ harvesting to the woman beside him. As she was not very fluent in English, she read a Falun Dafa truth-clarification flier in Czech in detail. After reading the flier and hearing the explanation from her companion, her eyes filled with tears and she solemnly knelt down on one knee to sign her name on the petition.

Young Chinese Man from the United States Admires Falun Dafa

A young Chinese man stood near the event for a long time to watch and take photos. After that, he walked over to the petition and signed his name. He said to a practitioner, “I fully support you!”

This young man, called Daniel, grew up in the United States. “I am really happy to meet you all here,” he said. “I know that the information that you are telling people is true. They are all true things that the CCP does not want people to know.” He also said, “My father was lucky to survive the Tiananmen Massacre [student movement] in 1989. The American government saved him at that time through the green channel, so I am relatively familiar with the CCP’s evil and their brutal ways in treating the Chinese people.”

Daniel said that he really admired Falun Dafa. He was especially touched by Falun Dafa practitioners’ compassion, resilience, and courage, and their long-term persistence in clarifying the truth to people around the world.

“I have not only seen you in the United States, I also saw you during my Japan tour too,” he said. “I did not expect to see you again when I had just reached Sweden today. You have done very well and of course I must show my support!”
