(Minghui.org) A Beijing woman who had been out on bail was taken straight to the Daxing Prison by prison staff on July 25, 2025, to serve a term of three years and nine months for her faith in Falun Gong.

Ms. Shi Cuiying was previously arrested on August 19, 2020 with her daughter Ms. Guo Meng, when they were shopping in a supermarket. The police raided their shared residence and confiscated items related to Falun Gong. They claimed that they had been following both women for three months and had taken many photos of them talking to people about Falun Gong.

Ms. Guo was held at the Changping District Detention Center and had her arrest approved. She was indicted by prosecutor Zhu Jipeng of the Changping District Procuratorate and tried by judge Wang Ying of the Changping District Court. It’s not clear whether she was sentenced.

While Ms. Shi was released on bail on August 21, 2020, staffers from the Changping District Procuratorate harassed her many times and threatened that they might prosecute her as well.

Personnel from the Daxing Prison suddenly showed up at Ms. Shi’s home on July 25, 2025, and took her to prison to serve a term of three years and nine months. It’s not clear when the trial (if there even was one) was held.
