The mayor and the city council of El Paso, Texas presented a proclamation proclaiming March 14, 2026 as “Shen Yun Performing Arts Day.” They highly praised Shen Yun Performing Arts for allowing local residents to appreciate high quality art and traditional values, and for bringing hope to audiences around the world.
The Falun Dafa practitioners’ car tour and waist drum group participated in the parade, drawing applause and cheers from spectators along the streets. Many people stopped at their booth to learn about Falun Dafa and sign the petition calling to end the Chinese Communist Party’s persecution.
A practitioner began practicing Falun Dafa when he was suffering from a terminal illness that required surgery on both lungs. He followed the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, studied the Fa teachings, and did the exercises. A follow-up exam showed that the cancer cells had vanished.
