China Fahui | Helping Master Save People Is a Cultivation Opportunity

I moved last year. When I previously lived in the city center, I encountered all kinds of people, so it was relatively easy to clarify the truth about the persecution, and I was able to talk to many people. My new environment is quite different. It is a pleasant area, nestled between mountains and the sea. Many of the residents moved here from various places to retire—including former teachers and doctors from the city, senior executives from major corporations, and retired military officers. They are generally from a higher socioeconomic stratum. Most are quite wealthy. I believe it’s not a coincidence that Master arranged for me to come here—perhaps there are many predestined individuals here who need to be saved.

I would like to share some of my experiences in the past year while clarifying the truth in this new environment.

People Are Waiting to Be Saved

Everything is unfamiliar in a new environment, and I didn’t know anyone. I thought, Master said: “One only needs to worry about putting in the effort of practice, and the rest is in the hands of one’s teacher,” from Zhuan Falun.

I’m a practitioner, so I should be proactive in finding those with a predestined relationship and tell them the facts about Dafa.

Because I wish to help him save people, Master brings those with a predestined connection to Dafa to me. It is as if they are waiting for me to tell them the truth. I find it very natural to strike up a conversation with them and lead the discussion to ask them to withdraw from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations and to learn the truth about Dafa. They come to understand that Dafa is good and are willing to quit the CCP.

However, there are times when I need to make a greater effort to explain things to people. Whenever I run into situations like that, I recall Master’s words:

“It’s hard to save people nowadays. You have to explain things to them by following the logic of their attachments.” (Teachings From a Tour of North America)

That is indeed the case. Whenever I tailor my approach to address a person’s specific concerns or attachments, most are willing to agree to withdraw from the CCP. These individuals come from all walks of life—teachers, doctors, university students, retired military officers, public security personnel, professors, food delivery workers, security guards, cleaners, and Christians or followers of other faiths. I have found that many deeply hate the Communist Party. This is especially true when the topic turns to the issue of toxic vaccines; people often express a sense of helplessness, feeling there is nothing they can do. They have come to realize the truth: that the evil CCP intends to poison the Chinese people to death—that this malevolent entity seeks to drag the Chinese people down to perish along with it.

One evening, I went to the seaside and spotted a middle-aged man exercising. I struck up a conversation with him and learned that he moved here from the north to retire. He previously worked in a technical field. We began talking about his former profession, and I said, “Working in a technical field is certainly better than being a government official these days. Just look at how rampant corruption is among officials—it’s truly shocking.”

He agreed, adding that some of his former classmates—who are part of the state apparatus—told him that the entire system under the CCP is rotten to the core. He said that what the general public knows is merely the tip of the iceberg, and that there is so much corruption and depravity that it’s too appalling even to put into words.

The man mentioned that he visited Hong Kong, where he saw Falun Dafa practitioners telling people about the practice and displaying large banners that read, “Heaven Will Eliminate the CCP.” He said, “The CCP has committed countless evils; Heaven is set to destroy it—this is Heaven’s will.”

Building on his observation, I shared more about Falun Dafa and I explained that withdrawing from the CCP and its affiliated organizations is the way to avert calamity. He said that he never joined the Party itself, so he didn’t consider himself part of it. I replied, “When you joined the Communist Youth League or the Young Pioneers, you also made an oath to dedicate your life to this Party—an oath that will eventually come due. You are a kind-hearted person who can clearly distinguish between good and evil; we should return to our true roots and become children of the Divine—that way, our descendants will have a foundation.” In the end, he agreed to withdraw from the CCP.

I often talk to people who deliver food and tell them the benefits of practicing Falun Dafa and encourage them to renounce their ties to the CCP. These young people are usually quite receptive; as long as one maintains strong righteous thoughts and has the courage to speak up, it is usually possible to help them make this choice. Once, I saw a delivery person taking a break, drinking a beer and listening to music. I approached him and said, “You look quite content! Do you get a lot of work these days?”

He sighed, “It’s getting harder and harder. I’ve earned a third less this year compared to last year. On top of that, the traffic police are constantly checking our vehicles—I’ve already had two bikes confiscated. Ordinary Chinese people have it so rough; we slave away every single day for those corrupt officials. We work ourselves to the bone, yet we barely make any money—it all ends up in the pockets of the corrupt. But what can you do?”

I explained how the CCP has committed countless evils: it persecutes Falun Dafa and good, innocent people. As the old saying goes, good is rewarded with good, and evil meets with evil. There is a natural law of retribution; no one escapes the justice of Heaven.

He agreed, adding that because he took the CCP’s poisonous vaccines, his health deteriorated. He said the CCP has become evil beyond description. He even expressed a desire to join Falun Dafa, and asked when they would fight the CCP so that he could take part. I said, “Falun Dafa has no such ranks, nor does it seek to overthrow anyone; it is Heaven that will eliminate this evil Party. As long as you say, ‘Falun Dafa is good, and Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good’, you will be protected by the divine.” He agreed to renounce his ties to the CCP.

On another occasion, I met a man who had just retired; he mentioned that he had worked for the Public Security Bureau from the time he graduated from university until his retirement. I asked him, “Having spent so much time in the Public Security system, were you ever involved in the persecution of Dafa practitioners?”

He replied that he hadn’t, as he worked in logistics and had no contact with the public. I then asked, “How is it that you never received a promotion during your decades in the Public Security Bureau?” He explained that he once had an opportunity to become a department director at the Land and Resources Bureau—a position that was very lucrative but he declined it. Someone else took the post instead, and that person has since been arrested. “It truly seems as though there was divine protection at work,” he said. He also expressed great relief that he never held an official post, noting that all his friends who became government officials ended up being arrested.

I said, “The chief and deputy chief of our local Public Security Bureau have both been arrested.” He said that he was aware of this. I continued, “The police chief couldn’t distinguish good from evil and persecuted good people. Heaven sees everything that people do. His arrest is payback for all the evil deeds he committed.” The man agreed that Heaven indeed observes human actions. Taking this opportunity, I explained the truth about Dafa and helped him withdraw from the CCP.

I believe that people in this world are all awaiting salvation through Dafa. Master has already laid the groundwork; what is required now is for us to break through our human notions, step forward, and save those with a predestined connection—those who believe in the Divine.

Running Into an Elderly Man Three Times

Clarifying the truth, saving people is also a cultivation process and an opportunity to get rid of our attachments. I look within and run into all kinds of tests of my character.

Once, while at a seaside park, I spotted an elderly man dressed neatly, accompanied by a woman with a child. I struck up a conversation: “Sir, the sea breeze is quite strong today, isn’t it?” He said, “Yes, I love coming to the seaside to catch the breeze.” I asked where he was from and where he lived now. He began to share his background, pouring out his life story all at once. He mentioned that he had entered university the year the national college entrance examination was reinstated, subsequently worked in government offices, and eventually served as the head of a hospital until his retirement. Upon hearing that he had been a hospital director, my immediate reaction was one of antipathy—hospital directors are, after all, the last people ordinary folks like us want to see.

Just a few days earlier, there was news that the heads of the city’s three major hospitals had all been placed under internal disciplinary investigation. Without a second thought for his feelings, I remarked, “The presidents of our city’s three big hospitals have all been arrested; it seems all these hospital directors are just corrupt officials.” He was clearly unhappy with what I said, and insisted that such cases were merely isolated incidents and went on at length—with increasing agitation and visible anger—about how upright and honorable he himself had been.

I realized that continuing to argue with him was pointless; he was so adamant that he might well be beyond saving. I turned away and began speaking to the woman. Seeing that I was no longer paying him any attention, the elderly man got up and walked off. Back home, I reflected on the incident and looked inward. I discovered that the root cause lay within me: I found I had various attachments—such as a combative mentality, jealousy, a tendency to look down on others, a lack of compassion, and the influence of CCP culture. Not only did I fail to save him, but I actually pushed him further away. I resolved to eliminate these human attachments that do not align with the Fa; should I encounter him again, I will clarify the truth to him once more. I want to save him.

Sure enough, a few days later, I ran into the man again. I took the initiative to greet him, asking, “Out for a stroll, sir?” He replied, “How do you know me?” I asked, “Aren’t you the hospital director?” It was clear he no longer remembered me. We continued walking, chatting as we went. As we talked, I looked for opportunities to clarify the truth —bringing up, for instance, how students turned on their teachers during the Cultural Revolution, or how intellectuals were branded as the stinking ninth category. Suddenly, he remarked, “All of this was Mao’s doing—his evil legacy.” I immediately responded, “If you had said that during the Cultural Revolution, they surely would have persecuted you to death.” He seemed quite upset by my comment and stopped walking with me. And just like that, I was once again unable to tell him the facts on Dafa.

After returning home, I replayed what had just happened in my mind. He had remarked that Mao Zedong was “no good”—a sign that he might be more open to the truth than I had initially assumed—so I resolved to help save him. Because I had this wish, Master gave me wisdom. A few days later, I ran into the elderly man again. This time, I greeted him with great enthusiasm: “Hello there! We meet again—what a wonderful coincidence!” He agreed.

I continued, “You are such a kind and good-hearted person; you surely deserve a good reward. The Buddha looks after those with a predestined relationship and protects the kind! With so many natural and man-made disasters occurring today—during which humans are truly powerless—I pray that Heaven keeps you safe. Moreover, you shouldn’t consider yourself a descendant of Marx and Lenin; instead, you should return to your true roots and become a follower of the Divine.”

I asked if he was a Party member, and he answered: “Of course—I’ve been a member for over fifty years.” I said: “When you joined, you swore to dedicate your life to atheism—a vow witnessed by Heaven itself. Such a poisonous oath must eventually be fulfilled; Marx intends to drag you down with him into the abyss—wouldn’t that be a terrible loss for you? You must renounce that poisonous oath from the bottom of your heart so the Divine will protect you.” He said, “Alright, thank you.” I never saw him again after that.

Thank you, Master, for granting me a healthy body and a good appearance, and for bestowing wisdom upon me. Whenever I go out to clarify the truth, people acknowledge and accept what I tell them; many even agree to withdraw from the CCP.

Moving forward, I will study the Fa well, eliminate my human attachments—such as the pursuit of fame, gain, and sentimentality—that do not align with the Fa. I will follow Master’s teachings, save more predestined people, and return home with Master.
