Cultivating Self To Save More People

(Minghui.org) I am 59-years-old and obtained the Fa in 2004. I have always clarified the truth face-to-face to people. The Fa-rectification is now nearing its conclusion, but a vast number of people still need to be saved. Fellow practitioners often say that we are racing against the evil forces to save people! Many practitioners on the front lines are working diligently to save lives, fulfilling their sacred vows.

Yesterday, I delivered a name list of people who quit the CCP to a fellow practitioner who had access to the internet and could upload them to the Minghui website. The practitioner said, “In the past two years, the number of people withdrawing from the CCP has been decreasing, according to the practitioners who are clarifying the truth to people face to face.” Another practitioner said there were fewer and fewer predestined people now. People who are supposed to quit the CCP have already quit, and people who can’t be saved won’t quit no matter how hard we try. The practitioner who had access to the internet anxiously asked me to write a sharing article for Minghui about how we could help more people quit the CCP, to encourage fellow practitioners to improve and save more people. Time is pressing! He also said that maybe Master gave him a hint to ask me to write this paper.

Hearing that, I felt that Master must be encouraging me to write this article. My wish is to share how to change notions and save more people. I promised my fellow practitioner I’d finish it in three days.

Changing Notions

There was a time that I also had the same thought, that those who should be saved have already quit the CCP and those who can’t be saved won’t quit the CCP no matter what we say, and that there are fewer and fewer predestined people. This thought led to laziness and negative thinking, resulting in a decrease in the number of people withdrawing.

Until the winter of 2023, I studied Master’s lectures every night.

Master said:

“Regardless, whether they can be saved depends on their having good thoughts. No matter how mainland Chinese have been polluted, below the surface there is a film-like layer separating things, and once that is lifted, then the person beneath is revealed, with morality and character like the people there in the sixties. I will lift and remove that thing in the future.” (“Fa Teaching Given at the 2014 San Francisco Fa Conference,” Collected Fa Teachings, Vol. XIII)

I was happy to read this again and thought that those people should be easy to save.

I felt that Master had since lifted that barrier, and people were anxiously waiting to be saved. Our cultivation path is arranged by Master and we only need to listen to Master. The only duty for Dafa practitioners is to save people, and there is nothing else for us to do in this human world. Master didn’t arrange for persecution on our cultivation paths, so we should completely negate such arrangements, including the existence of the old forces themselves.

More and more people have quit the CCP since then with our help.

Sending Forth Righteous Thoughts

We send forth righteous thoughts before we go out every morning, “We are going to the market to clarify the truth, Master please protect us and arrange predestined people to hear the truth from us. Those wishing to do us harm are not allowed to come close to us.”

We came to understand that every Dafa practitioner has divine power, so we kept sending righteous thoughts along the way. After arriving at the destination, I sent a thought, “Sentient beings, you have been waiting for millions of years to be saved. Do not miss this opportunity. I have come as promised. Be good and come to hear the truth!” At this time, my eyes were filled with compassion and people just came in pairs to listen to the truth as if they had an appointment. I learned to clarify the truth quickly. They all understood, and the rate of quitting the CCP has been quite high.

I once went to a busy bus station and sent one thought to let predestined people stay and others leave. Soon, those people who stayed heard about the truth and quit the CCP. It was truly amazing.

Looking Inward and Improving Xinxing

When the number of people quitting the CCP increases, it’s easy to develop the attachment to joy, complacency, fame, arrogance, and self-righteousness. I am glad every time these attachments arise. Master will enlighten us to help us improve.

We once talked to several people at a market, but none of them agreed to quit the CCP and they refused to accept an amulet. I immediately became alert. Did I do something wrong? I quickly corrected myself and sent forth righteous thoughts to ask Master for strengthening.

I also met some people who agreed to quit the CCP, but when I picked a name for them, they changed their minds. When I looked within, I found that I had an attachment to fame. We once collected more than one hundred names of people who quit the CCP, but the practitioner who uploaded the names lost one. We found it after asking Master for help. The lost name was “ Happy.” Through this we found our attachment to joy.

The toilet lid in my bathroom overflowed one day, and water spilled all over the floor. When I realized that Master had pointed out my complacency, the water immediately stopped flowing and the problem was automatically fixed. It was miraculous. I am grateful for Master’s care and guidance.

Two months ago, practitioner Wen was riding on a tricycle with me back from the market, when we collided with another vehicle. The tricycle overturned, and we both fell to the ground. I immediately shouted, “Master, save me!” I wasn’t injured. I knew that Master had protected me. Wen fractured her right wrist and went to the hospital. I looked inward and realized two things. One was that Wen could improve, and the second was that I had developed a dependence on Wen. I was not sure what I could do if Wen couldn’t go with me. After some thought, I decided to go clarify the truth by myself. I had nothing to fear as Master was with me. Under Master’s blessing, I went to more places to clarify the truth and helped more people quit the CCP. I gradually got used to clarifying the truth by myself. Wen returned after a month and a half. Her wrist healed, and she had made progress in her cultivation. She went out with me to clarify the truth the next day. In just two hours, fifty-eight people quit the CCP, with six of them helped by her. She has truly made great progress.

Two weeks ago, we went to a large rural market a good distance away. When we had helped more than 50 people quit the CCP, an elderly woman who understood the truth came over and said to me, “You’d better leave quickly. The police are here. Hurry up and go.” I immediately left. I knew Master was helping us. Two days after, we went to another rural market, and just after we helped more than a dozen people quit the CCP, a male and female police officer came out of the large market and approached us. They snatched my amulets and told us to leave. Later, another practitioner told me, “Thanks to Master you returned safely. There are many practitioners out there clarifying the truth who were arrested. Maybe your thoughts were righteous. Police are also people who need to be saved. They shouldn’t arrest you!”

I looked inward through this incident and found my attachment to joy which was therefore taken advantage of by the evil. I hope never to encounter them again—so as to spare them from creating karma!

Personal improvement always comes first on our paths of cultivation. While saving people, we cultivate ourselves at the same time, quickly assimilate to Dafa, quickly improve our xinxing, and follow the cultivation path Master has arranged for us until the end of Fa-rectification, and return to our true home with Master.

Please point out anything not based on the Fa. I hope fellow practitioners will change their notions and quickly save more people.
