How People View Me as a Falun Dafa Practitioner

(Minghui.org) I started practicing Falun Dafa in 1997. I used to be selfish and seek fame and gain, but guided by Falun Dafa’s principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance I became kind, considerate, and learned to take personal interests lightly. I kept improving my moral character. Falun Dafa purified my body and fundamentally changed my mindset. Many people have witnessed the wonderfulness of Falun Dafa and the kindness of practitioners through me.

I’d like to share some stories about how people view me as a Falun Dafa practitioner.

Family Member: You Are the Kindest Person in the Family

I was previously persecuted for practicing Falun Dafa and sent to a forced labor camp, and in recent years I was arrested and detained several times. This impacted my family members greatly. Though they knew that Falun Dafa was good and had personally experienced that, they were very afraid of the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) cruelty.

On one occasion, when I had just been released from jail, my elder brother said, “You see what your family is like now. You have implicated your whole family. Your husband and son were implicated and put in jail.” He then said angrily, “You are not allowed to practice Falun Dafa anymore. You can’t fight the powerful. You are like eggs against a rock.” My family members blamed me one after the other. My mother stood to the side sighing. The atmosphere was intense and suffocating.

I felt pain. I had indeed been busy doing things all these years, and had studied the Fa with a wandering mind and didn’t cultivate myself solidly. I played a negative role and didn’t save my family members. I tried to control myself during this incident and didn’t complain. I didn’t argue with them. I hadn’t cultivated myself well and only had myself to blame. Only when I’d studied the Fa well and cultivated myself solidly could I do well in my everyday environment. I needed to demonstrate the wonder of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance all the more in my family environment.

Whenever I went to see my mother, I brought a lot of food for her. I cooked a table of delicious food with my husband on the weekend so that the whole family could enjoy the warmth and happiness of family. I stayed at home cooking when my family took my mother out for sightseeing so they could enjoy dinner as soon as they returned. On one occasion, my mother soiled her pants while they were out. My sister lost her temper when they got home and blamed my mother repeatedly. I said, “It doesn’t matter. I will do the washing.” I gave my mother a shower and cleaned everything. Everyone was happy again.

My mother was later hospitalized, became bedridden, and couldn’t take care of herself. I looked after her patiently and kept her clean and tidy. The patients and their families in the same room said that I was so kind and that I had become their role model. I realized that whether a Falun Dafa practitioner behaves well or not affects how people view Falun Dafa. I told them the facts about Falun Dafa and the significance of withdrawing from the CCP and its affiliated organizations. All of them happily quit the CCP. They saw me off when my mother was discharged from the hospital.

My mother became bedridden when she was 90 years old. I looked after her patiently. I cleaned her, washed her, and never complained. I did whatever I could for her, so my other family members could do less. She told my brother and sister that I was so good and so nice.

My brother and sister were bothered by their illnesses. They often discussed what kind of medications were effective. I said, “I have practiced Falun Dafa for nearly 30 years and haven’t taken any medication. If you practice Falun Dafa, you will be illness-free like me.” They know Falun Dafa is wonderful and practitioners are kind. They now often recite “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.” We visited our relatives during the Chinese New Year this year, and my sister told our relatives that I was the kindest person in our family.

Our family has benefited a lot from Falun Dafa thanks to Master’s compassionate protection. Master has made the best arrangements for our family. We express our immense gratitude to Master and Falun Dafa.

You Are the Classmate I Admire the Most

We had a class reunion last autumn. The organizer called me and said that I should attend the reunion this time because I hadn’t seen them for almost 20 years due to the persecution. I was moved by her call. After I was sent to a forced labor camp, it caused a stir among my former classmates. I learned that several classmates had visited related departments to ask for my release. I came across two classmates after I was released. One of them said, “We went to see officers in a government department. They said that as long as you gave up Falun Gong, they would release you. But you wouldn’t give it up, so they said they couldn’t do anything.”

As the CCP’s lies filled this society, our class reunion was a precious opportunity for my classmates to learn about Falun Dafa. I decided to grasp the opportunity to raise awareness.

We gathered in a big restaurant and sat around a large table. I hadn’t seen several of them for 20 years. One classmate hadn’t seen me for 50 years and almost didn’t recognize me. Everyone was excited and talked about their careers. They had been school principals, leaders, big bosses, and workers. Some had lived in other provinces. I got a bit anxious because I had the task of saving them. I was able to clarify the truth to individuals but was a bit afraid to talk to so many people at once. I sent forth righteous thoughts to clear the field.

At that time, our classmate “big boss” who had made a lot of money arrived. He was late, and all of us stood up. He pointed at me in front of the classmates and said, “She is the classmate I admire most. She practices Falun Dafa, believes in it firmly, and never gives it up.” I became excited. Master made the perfect arrangement. I could clarify the truth to them openly now.

I immediately said, “Thank you for supporting us and for supporting kindness.” The dishes had then been served, so everyone toasted each other. I took the opportunity to tell them how Falun Dafa has spread all over the world and why the CCP persecutes the practice. They expressed their views from time to time.

I said, “The CCP launched many political movements after it seized power. It launched the Three-Anti movement, the Five-Anti movement, the Suppression of Counterrevolutionaries movement, the Anti-Rightist movement, and the Cultural Revolution, which resulted in countless wrongful and unjust cases. After one movement finished, the CCP exonerated some of the people and then wronged them again in another political movement. Nowadays corruption is rampant.

“When we joined the CCP, Youth League, and Young Pioneers, we were required to swear an oath that we would devote our lives to communism. When we joined the Young Pioneers, we were required to make an oath to become successors of communism. Ancient people didn’t make oaths casually. Everyday people don’t swear an oath casually. There are gods and deities three feet above our heads. When you swear an oath, you need to carry it out. The CCP has done so many bad deeds and it is atheist. How can we give our lives to this atheist organization? When you have a thought, Heaven and Earth know it. To keep ourselves safe, please withdraw from the CCP and its affiliated organizations in your heart.”

I continued, “Chinese people have believed in Heaven for thousands of years. Heaven protects us.” All of the classmates agreed to quit the CCP. I asked each classmate if they had joined the Party, Youth League, or Young Pioneers. They answered me and agreed to quit the CCP organizations. I was very moved and could feel the compassionate and righteous field. Even a classmate who had previously refused to quit the CCP agreed to quit. One classmate who had been a leader said, “Luckily, we invited the ‘big boss.’ If he didn’t come, she [referring to me] would not have told us about the quitting CCP.”

Sentient beings came for the Fa and for salvation. The power of Falun Dafa allowed every classmate to quit the CCP. During the meal, we talked and laughed. We talked about funny events, and everyone laughed heartily. I still remember the scenes vividly.

Everyone Said You Are a Good Person

The CCP’s persecution of me caused a stir in my organization. Though I was retired, the notice of my punishment was sent to every department. I became famous in the organization. Those who previously didn’t know me now knew about me. I came across a colleague after I was released from the forced labor camp. I hadn’t seen her in a few years. We were so happy to see each other. She said, “Everyone knows that you are a good person. The director praised you highly in the institute administrative meeting and protected you.”

Many colleagues knew that I practiced Falun Dafa, and came to know what Falun Dafa was through practitioners’ behavior. Some of them read Dafa books and knew that Falun Dafa was good. During the years when Falun Gong was most severely persecuted, the institute demanded that each department criticize Falun Gong in the weekly political study session. The director of my department never cooperated and didn’t arrange any weekly study sessions. But many people were deceived by the CCP-staged Tiananmen self-immolation incident, believed the hoax, and were against Falun Gong. People inside the CCP system could hardly learn the truth about Falun Dafa. But many of them are good people and deserve to be saved.

I am a Falun Dafa practitioner in the Fa-rectification period. It is my responsibility and mission to save sentient beings. I must do well. Everyone knows that I practice Falun Dafa. This has made it easier for me to tell them about Falun Dafa. I didn’t miss any opportunities in recent years to clarify the truth to my colleagues when I saw them, and they readily accepted the truth. Some colleagues who were not close to me previously, saw me and quit the CCP after I clarified the truth to them.

I met a retired director who had been very arrogant in his position. I sent forth righteous thoughts to clear the evil elements that might prevent him from learning the truth. I greeted him and said, “Do you still remember me?” He said that he didn’t know me. I told him my name. He said immediately, “Yes, I know you. As soon as you said your name, I recognized you.” I asked him if he knew that I practiced Falun Dafa. He said that he knew it. I told him what Falun Dafa is, why the CCP persecutes Falun Dafa, and why people should withdraw from the CCP and its affiliated organizations. He accepted what I said and happily agreed to withdraw from the CCP and its affiliated organizations.

I met another retired director several days ago. He didn’t recognize me. I told him my name. He then said that he knew me. When I mentioned Falun Dafa, he said that people practice Falun Dafa to keep healthy. I told him what Falun Dafa is, how Falun Dafa practitioners become good people after they practice, how Falun Dafa has spread to the world, and why people should withdraw from the CCP and its affiliated organizations. He agreed to quit the CCP without hesitation. He mentioned many chaotic phenomena in society and how corrupt the CCP is. He said he felt heartbroken when he saw that society had become such a mess within a few short years.

I am so lucky to practice Falun Dafa and feel that I am the luckiest person in the whole universe. I have the sacred mission of saving sentient beings. I will study the Fa well, cultivate myself well, save more sentient beings, fulfill my vows and my mission, and be worthy of Master’s immense saving grace.
