Police Chief Promoted After He Quits the Chinese Communist Party

(Minghui.org) I am 72 years old and live in a rural village. I’d like to share a few stories about how good things happened to a police chief and my family members after they agreed with Falun Dafa’s teachings and quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations.

1. The Police Chief Is Promoted

A police chief came to my home one day. I thought he had come to see my younger son because they knew each other. I decided to clarify the truth about the persecution to him and said, “Has anyone helped you quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations?”

“No ones dare to talk to me about it,” he said. “They are afraid of me because I look big and mean.”

“I will,” I said. He told me to go ahead.

I asked which CCP organizations he joined, and he told me all of them. I said, “You must protect the Falun Dafa practitioners who are brought to your station and find a way to release them. If you persecute them, there will be bad consequences. Perhaps you’ll lose you job as a police chief.”

He promised that he’d protect the practitioners. I then encouraged him, “If you protect them, good things will happen to you. You might be rewarded and get a promotion. It will be even better if you could quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations.”

Without hesitation, he said, “Sure, I’ll quit them all.”

A few days later, I brought Falun Dafa flyers, a calendar, and a copy of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party to his office, and he gladly accepted them. I reminded him to remember that, “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.” He seemed very happy and said, “Yes I will.”

I heard a practitioner was persecuted but I wasn’t sure, so I went to the police station and asked him if he’d heard anything. He told me, “No, but don’t you worry. If I hear anything, I’ll be sure to let you know.”

Later, he was transferred to the county and promoted to be the captain of the criminal investigation brigade. He was indeed rewarded for his kindness.

2. Daughter-In-Law’s Cancer Gone

After my daughter-in-law, Su, was diagnosed with a pancreatic tumor, her skin and even the whites of her eyes turned yellow. She traveled to Beijing to get treatment from the 301 Hospital, but no beds were available. She was transferred to another hospital for a procedure, and a sample of her tissue was collected for evaluation. She knew that Falun Dafa is good, and kept silently reciting this during the procedure.

A few days later, Su went to the 301 Hospital again for another check up. The tumor was gone. Five doctors said it was impossible for a tumor to disappear that fast. She didn’t need a stent in her bile duct either.

A woman in our village had a pancreatic tumor and spend 130 thousand yuan on treatment. When she saw Su’s jaundice, she warned us that treatment would be expensive. However, we spent less than 30 thousand yuan in hospital expenses. I believe that Su’s positive attitude toward Falun Dafa brought her good luck. She expressed her sincere gratitude to Master Li.

3. Granddaughter Gets into a Good Graduate School

When my granddaughter was in middle school, she told me one day that she was the only student in her class of 40 who knew how to solve a question in a test that was worth 20 points.

She told me, “The answer just came to me after I recited ‘Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good’ twice.” I knew that Master Li gave her the wisdom.

She helped me write the complaint when I filed a lawsuit against Jiang Zemin, a former Chinese leader who launched the persecution of Falun Dafa in 1999. Soon after that she was accepted to a good graduate school.

4. Younger Son’s Career Goes Smoothly

My younger son, Dong, was a handful since he was little, and always got into fights and trouble. Because of him, we owed a lot of money, and I had to work to help him pay off his debt.

Dong knew that Falun Dafa is good, and was supportive of my practicing. When practitioners came to my home to read Zhuan Falun, he politely greeted them. After he got married, his wife also knew the facts about Falun Dafa because of him.

He became an honest, hard-working man, and went into the construction business, which made him a lot of money. He then opened up a club, and the business thrived.

Dong went from someone who idled away his time to a successful business man. He knew that Falun Dafa changed his life, and he respected Master and the practice even more.
