(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 9 cities or counties in 8 provinces, where at least 13 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

4. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Li Huaduo Arrested
5. [Huixian City, Henan Province] Mr. Yang Jinhan Taken to Psychiatric Hospital
6. [Shulan City, Jilin Province] Ms. Zhao Changyan to Be Released from Prison
7. [Wuhan City Hubei Province] Ms. Xu Lihua Detained
8. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Practitioners Pei Yan and Ms. Zhu Chunyan Arrested
9. [Anlu City, Hubei Province] Elderly Ms. Fang Zongju Missing
10. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Hou Jinhua Detained
1. [Qixia City, Shandong Province] Ms. Mu Shulan Faces Trial
Ms. Mu Shulan was arrested on April 20, 2026. She was scheduled to stand trial at the Qixia City Court on August 24, 2026.
2. [Anqiu City, Shandong Province] Mr. Gao Hongjie Arrested
Mr. Gao Hongjie was arrested along with his landlord, who doesn’t practice Falun Gong, from his rental home on the evening of August 18, 2026.
3. [Qinglong County, Hebei Province] Ms. Cui Fengying Arrested
Ms. Cui Fengying went to the local police station on the morning of August 6, 2026, and handed a letter to the director urging them not to persecute Falun Gong practitioners. The director arrested her instead and took her to the Qinglong County Police Department. She has been detained since.
4. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Li Huaduo Arrested
Ms. Li Huaduo, 75, was arrested on August 18, 2026, and taken to the Tonghe County Police Department. The police intimidated her and then released her on bail.
5. [Huixian City, Henan Province] Mr. Yang Jinhan Taken to Psychiatric Hospital
Mr. Yang Jinhan was arrested at home on July 10, 2026, by Ma, a village official in Chaizhuang Village, Zhangcun Township, and four other people. He was taken to the psychiatry section of Baiquan Town Health Center and denied visits with his family. The nurses threatened to harvest his organs for the transplant market.
6. [Shulan City, Jilin Province] Ms. Zhao Changyan to Be Released from Prison
Ms. Zhao Changyan is scheduled to be released from the Jilin Province Women’s Prison on September 15, 2026.
7. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Xu Lihua Detained
Ms. Xu Lihua was taken to Wuhan City First Women’s Detention Center on August 9, 2026, for 15 days.
8. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Practitioners Pei Yan and Ms. Zhu Chunyan Arrested
Pei Yan and Ms. Zhu Chunyan were arrested on the morning of August 7, 2026, while reading Falun Gong books together at home.
9. [Anlu City, Hubei Province] Elderly Ms. Fang Zongju Missing
Ms. Fang Zongju, an elderly practitioner living alone, has gone missing since early August 2026.
10. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Hou Jinhua Detained
Ms. Hou Jinhua was reported to the police for posting Falun Gong informational stickers. She was arrested by officers from Qizheng Police Station on July 20, 2026. The officers confiscated her Falun Gong books and other personal belongings. She was detained for 10 days and released on July 31.
