Falun Dafa Cleansed My Body and Blessed My Family

(Minghui.org) I have experienced the health benefits of Falun Dafa, and also witnessed the miracles that have happened to people who have come to know Dafa. In my 26 years of cultivation, Master Li, the founder of Falun Dafa, has endured the pain of my sufferings for me. My gratitude for his boundless compassion cannot be expressed in words. Any person who believes in, respects, and promotes Dafa will also be blessed.

My Body Was Cleansed and My Diseases Disappeared

Before practicing Falun Dafa (also known as Falun Gong), I suffered from hepatitis B, stomach problems, rheumatoid arthritis, and other diseases. I consulted several experts for treatment of my hepatitis B and spent a lot of money, but nothing worked. 

My eldest brother died from hepatitis B in 1995. I was only 39 years old at that time. The images of his suffering lingered in my mind, and I struggled with pain and sadness every day. I had two school-aged children. I wondered what would happen to them if I also died from this disease. My mental stress ran very high. I was pessimistic, disappointed, and completely lost confidence in life. 

Just when my life was at its lowest point, a door of happiness opened up for me. In May 1997, I became a Dafa practitioner, and my life underwent a fundamental change. Master Li cleansed my body, and all my diseases disappeared completely one month later. Since then, I have been very healthy and energetic. My life is filled with excitement and joy. I was very fortunate to become a Dafa practitioner. I will steadfastly cultivate Falun Dafa to the end.

The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) began to persecute Falun Dafa practitioners on July 20, 1999. I was illegally detained in the city detention center, where more than a dozen inmates took turns violently beating me. As a result, I suffered from injuries throughout my entire body, and required assistance to lie down or get up. But I do not hold any grudges against people who caused me to suffer so tremendously.

I used to be relentless when encountering conflicts. I was surprised that there was no trace of hatred, resentment, or revenge in my thoughts this time. It was Master who helped me get rid of the toxins the evil party culture instilled in me since I was a child. Dafa can help people abandon evil for goodness. Dafa has changed me; I am reborn. It is amazing!

Although it has been more than 20 years, I can still remember this beating incident clearly. Falun Dafa has cleansed my body, allowing me to feel light and illness-free. It has purified my mind, making me tolerant, kind, and independent. Every time I think of Master’s kindness, tears of gratitude flow down my cheeks. Thank you, Master Li!

My Family Was Protected

In 2000, my wife and I were arrested and illegally detained for persistently practicing Falun Dafa. My daughter was in high school and my son was in the first year of middle school. 

One day before a parent-teacher conference in the school, my son came to the detention center to see me, but he was stopped by the officer on duty. He stood at the gate helplessly. When the detention center director came out to the gate and saw my son, he asked him what was happening. My son said that he had come to ask his father to attend the school conference. The director asked for my name and where I lived. He said that he would go to the conference for me if I could not make it.

The director actually did go to the parent-teacher conference on my behalf the next day! He told the head teacher that he was a good friend of mine and asked the teacher to take good care of my son. Later, a 610 Office agent ordered the head teacher to expel my son from school. The head teacher refused. He said, “These children who are now receiving education will one day be responsible for the country and the society. Without being educated, they may go astray and become a burden to the country and a problem for their family. Who will be held accountable then?” The 610 Office agent was speechless and left.

I went to thank the director for helping out my son after I was released from prison. We knew each other before, but I did not know he had become the detention center director. The director said, “You do not have to thank me. I heard the facts about Falun Gong from a Fa study group leader, who was detained in the detention center before. This practitioner said that Falun Gong is a profound Buddhist Fa. It teaches people to be kind in accordance with the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. Practitioners cultivate their minds and require themselves to follow high standards. He also said that the Tiananmen self-immolation was fake. Learning about these Dafa principles has changed me, making me eager to do some good things.” I was very happy for this director. 

My daughter was also blessed by Dafa. When she was admitted to college, a 610 Office agent told the college not to accept my daughter. The college personnel who collected and filed my daughter’s documents refused the directive, saying that the college follows relevant regulations in reviewing and admitting students. Under Master’s protection, the malicious attempt failed and my daughter successfully entered college.

Relatives Supportive of Dafa Were Also Blessed

My wife’s younger sister lived in an old house with mud walls and tiles, about two miles from my home. Her family was very poor and only earned a few thousand yuan a year. Her whole family knew that Falun Dafa is good. 

There were six people in our village who practiced Dafa. Because of the interference of the evil party, we lost our good environment for group Fa study. Despite the risk of arrest, my sister-in-law bravely provided a site for the group for about five years. Thus, Dafa has given this family many blessings.

My sister-in-law owned ten acres of barren land by the river, which had mostly gravel and little good soil. No crops could grow there, and only a small amount of grass appeared during the rainy season. In 2002, a steel mill owner rented the land and built a steel rolling mill. The rent was 12,000 yuan a year. In addition, my sister-in-law earned another 3,000 yuan monthly as a cook for the factory. Her husband also worked in the mill and earned 4,000 or 5,000 yuan a month. In total, the family had an annual income of more than 100,000 yuan. Their financial condition improved greatly!

My sister-in-law’s daughter was later admitted to a middle school in my town. She stayed at my place during school days. She did not have a good academic base and could not keep up with the study at school. She failed the mid-term exams in every course. 

My wife and I agreed that only Master could help my niece change her academic performance. I asked her about her future plans, and she expressed that she would like to study hard and enter college. I said, “Dafa can open up your wisdom if you study the book Zhuan Falun. It can help you understand your teacher’s lectures, complete your homework, and get good grades in the exams.” My niece believed it and read Zhuan Falun with us every day. She said her thoughts became clear, and her grades have improved significantly.

At the end of high school, my niece successfully passed the examination and was admitted to a college. To express her gratitude to Dafa, she texted her classmates the messages “Falun Dafa is good; Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.” 
In college, my niece gave others information about Falun Dafa and received many blessings. She was one of three students with financial hardship to receive financial aid of 3,000 yuan a year. She successfully finished a community college program and entered a regular college. When she graduated from college, she found an ideal job in the city. Her good fortune and hard work was admired by her classmates.

My niece has a younger brother, who was considered somewhat homely and unattractive since childhood. My nephew was always the object of ridicule by others when out in public. We often went out to post Falun Dafa information near his home, and he would come along and help us. He was about 12 years old at the time. 

After middle school, my nephew went to a technical school for three years. After graduating from the technical school, he worked for an advertising company and later became an installation technician. Now, he owns a car and also bought a house in the provincial capital. He looks drastically different now that he is grown up. He has become a handsome young man with fine delicate facial features.
