Practitioners held a rally and cultural performances in front of the Sydney Town Hall, where many dignitaries attended and gave speeches, and wrote letters to express their support.
Practitioners from various ethnic groups participated in the peaceful exercises and cultural events at Union Square, where many proclamations were received from elected officials.
Many supporters said that although they don’t practice Falun Dafa themselves, they’ve witnessed Dafa’s beauty from practitioners around them.
Many children who took up Dafa after it was introduced 33 years ago have become parents themselves. Just like their own parents who introduced Dafa to them, they also introduced Dafa to their children.
The event featured group exercises, music, classical dance performances, and other activities to share the physical and mental health benefits and the hope that Falun Dafa brings to people.
Practitioners gathered at Santa Monica Beach, performed the exercises, and held celebratory activities to the delight of many passersby.
